Justin Bieber Paternity Claim Was A Lie
You can probably file this one under stuff we probably knew but still interesting to hear. Mariah Yeater's ex is now serving time in jail but he spoke to RumorFix about Mariah Yeater's paternity claim against Justin Bieber. In the interview the man who says that he is the father of Mariah's baby says, "She just picked [Justin Bieber], because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money."
He also went on to say that Mariah made about $50K for selling her story. Well, she will probably end up spending it all on legal bills. This story has kind of disappeared hasn't it? No lawsuits. No followup to the paternity tests. Just silence.
Shocking.
ReplyDeleteThe silence is strange.
ReplyDelete^That's what I was thinking. Wouldn't Beibers' people be shouting it from the roof top that the tests were not a match?
ReplyDeleteMy understanding is that she never submitted the child for testing. Her lawyers were crying that JB's test was not done under their supervision or by a lab approved by them, so they should all go together.
ReplyDeleteIt is weird that we haven't heard anything else. I know it made the news, but I'd prefer to hear follow-up from someone other than RumorFix. I really want the whole thing to be untrue, and I could care less about Justin B. - I just don't like it when people do messed up stuff like this.
ReplyDeleteIs it criminal to do what she did?
ReplyDeleteIt might be criminal to do what she did. If she is receiving public assistance and did not report the income, she could be charged with welfare fraud. Wonder how her lawyer feels now? His career might be ruined if anyone remembers he represented her.
ReplyDelete@linnea - It should be!
ReplyDeleteShe is disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda shocked at how mind-numbingly stupid she is. She thought she would get away with it? What a dumbass.
ReplyDeleteMore than anything, how did this story ever gain traction? It seemed so bogus from the very beginning and the press jumped all over it.
ReplyDeleteEvery PR person knows that when you deny rumours you only help to spread them. Silence is one of the best ways to calm it down
ReplyDeleteIf she indeed lied, then I hope Bieber's lawyers sue her for defamation.
ReplyDeleteIs ENT implying that the child IS his? By the silence?
ReplyDeleteI hope she is forced to give back every penny of that $50K.
ReplyDeleteWhat Jenny said. It's frightening that this bullshit accusation made it to the press and became a national story. Do we not vet our famewhores anymore? We just take their word for it without doing any research?
ReplyDeleteThe story became big but I think most people believed it was bullshit from the beginning. And what does that mean "She just thought he (Justin) was famous." Justin IS famous. The boyfriend doesn't sound that bright himself.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Justin but if he wanted he could have made life very hard for this woman. It appears that he isn't going to do that. I think he just wants it all to go away.
*YAWN*
ReplyDeleteI am willing to bet that this happens more than we hear about and the poor celeb has to spend their money on lawyers to weed out the weirdos. I guess that is the price of fame along with the occasional stalker. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, but I really thought Bieber banged her. That part seemed credible, but it more likely I wanted to believe it. Anything to make him go away. However, he's sort of growing on me. I'm liking his gangly awkward stage, though I will NOT listen to his music, having already done the Donny Osmond thing many, many, MANY moons ago.
ReplyDeleteIsn't enty the one when the story first came out who said if there's silence then that probably was his baby and she got paid off? I find it extremely hard to believe that's his child though she seems to only be in it for money. & I guess it worked.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed a lot of stories never have their resolutions aired or talked about? I think blogs, tabloids and news organizations just move on when the resolution isn't interesting. Like this one. There isn't much else to add so why bother. LL is on the cover of Playboy right now, sadly that's what's getting attention.
ReplyDeleteWait until that poor kid is old enough to read all about this.
