Ben Flajnik Says Jennifer Love Hewitt Is Nice, But...
Former Bachelorette contestant and soon to be Bachelor star, Ben Flajnik was promoting the new season of the show and the inevitable question of his date with Jennifer Love Hewitt came up. He told USA Today that Jennifer was nice but there was absolutely no spark on his part. He says that she was nice and they had a nice conversation but that it just was not right for him and also he said that he was thinking of doing The Bachelor so it was not the right time. So, his interview comes out and Jennifer is caught reading a book about women who are too nice. Huh. Coincidence?
I like his comment on the subject. Shows class.
ReplyDeleteAs for JLH, meh, wish she would own up to being on her own and not having candy on her arm all the time.
Talk about a premeditated picture - she wanted to be sure everyone saw the cover on that book.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with JLH is that she's like a lot of women past age 30 who aren't married, don't have a boyfriend, and aren't likely to be married soon. She never developed much in the way of depth, largely because she's hot as hell. Today, she's over 30, competing with both young hotties under age 30 and women her age who are intelligent, thoughtful, not self-absorbed and definitely wife material. As a result, she's become desperate and weird (in addition to being a tad vapid). And none of those qualities are appreciated by quality men looking for wives.
ReplyDeleteThe only way she gets out of that problem is by spending some time on her own and addressing her issues. Otherwise, she'll be rinsing and repeating this cycle over and over again.
Someone who moves from relationship to relationship doesn't like spending time with themselves. And you don't like that who else will?
ReplyDeleteI think kicking her mom out would be a first step. Don't they live together?
ReplyDeleteI somehow doubt that her problem is that she's too nice, unless "nice" is an euphemism for "so desperate to be in a relationship that you accept any treatment."
And I don't even really see that being true, because girls like that find abusers and users who they can't get rid of.
I really liked Ben on Ashley's season. I can't see him and Jennifer having anything in common.
ReplyDeleteI think what he really meant was "bland," more than nice, but he himself was just too, well, nice to say so.
ReplyDeleteAll you need to know about J.Love you can get from checking out Rich Cronin talking about her on Howard Stern. I love this part:
ReplyDelete“She goes, “I am out of this relationship. Goodbye, I have to go do The Tonight Show’ and hung up the phone,” he said. “And that was it.”
She's name dropping as she dumps him!
This isnt the first time she's been photographed carrying some self help book. If you're going to read such crap at least gather your pride and do so at home. Sadly this really confirms her desperation to find and keep a guy. For me, my best relationships were when i least expected it,wasnt looking for someone & they just came across my path.
ReplyDelete"She's name dropping as she dumps him!" Omg @Mooshki that line made me laugh so hard.
ReplyDeletePretty much as pathetic as when Paris was photograped carrying The Bible and The Power of Now, of course cover out, spaced just so, as to allow a perfect "candid" shot...
WHY DO I LOVE THESE IDIOTS SO MUCH???
Can't stand her. And that dude, Ben Flajnik, is not attractive in any way, whatsoever.
ReplyDeletePathetic.
ReplyDeleteDishtlk, I think the worst was Kirsten Dunst pretending to read Carl Sagan. And making sure the cover was showing in every shot.
ReplyDeleteDon't any of these celebs have kindles or ipads? That's why I don't understand this shots with books. They have to be staged.
ReplyDeleteOK, I'll take one for the team. I volunteer to date JLH and evaluate her marriage potential. I think the major reason to get married is to provide a stable home life for children. So I promise to pay special attention to make sure her equipment to create and then breast feed her would-be children is excellent working order.
ReplyDeleteCowbulls: You're too selfless..What a sacrifice you're making.
ReplyDeleteAnything for the team.
ReplyDeleteI think we all knew this was a posed shot.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I wonder if Ben will change his tune after he finishes up The Bachelor. Speaking of that show, the last time I read Reality Steve, he was getting sued by The Bachelor producers!
