Wilson Ramos Rescued

Major League Baseball player Wilson Ramos was rescued by the military today in a gunfire filled rescue that remarkably left no one injured or dead which shows there must have been some really bad shooting on both sides. Four men in their 20's were arrested and charged with the kidnapping of the player from his house two days ago. Four other men from Colombia managed to escape during the gunfire exchange and have not been found. Also arrested was a couple in their 60's who are accused of supplying the kidnappers with food and shelter.

Wilson was unharmed physically but says he suffered a lot of psychological damage. Well, I am glad he is safe because in Venezuela kidnappings do not always have such a happy ending. AT least two family members of major league baseball players have been killed after being kidnapped for ransom money.

  3. I am sure Hugo Chavez is behind this circus. He is already saying in the news that the ( imperialist yankees as he expresses his love for Americans) odered this kidnapping. In order to make him look stupid and inept. BUt he showed them that the Venezuelan police is up to part. Ramos says that some of his captors had Colombian accent. Chavez replied to that statement that the Colombian's have strong ties to the American government. As I far as I remember all kidnapping end bad in Venezuela. There are 52 murders per 100,000 people.

  6. "there must have been some really bad shooting on both sides."

Contrary to movies/tv, in real life it's very hard to hit a person. That's why they say if someone pulls a gun on you, you should run because odds are the person won't be able to shoot you.

Chavez makes me lol, he's like, maximum trolling IRL. But nobody can ever take the place of Ahmadinejad, his trolling is a lot of srs bsns and real talk so he takes the prize. Besides, he really looks like this one guy I used to work with so there's that. But also, Chavez looks like another guy I used to work with too lol.
