As I said over the weekend, I love Braxton Family Values. I could watch it all day. In fact, I have watched it all day before. Apparently I am not alone in my love for the show as the season premiere was the most watched cable show of the week last week. That is pretty good for being on a network that is a pronoun. See that? How often do you get a gossip site with grammatical humor thrown in too? Now if only my grammar was as good as my skill including pronoun jokes.
At some point this season we are going to get to see Toni firing Tamar's husband Vince as Toni's manager. I think Toni wants to be the big shot and Vince has been doing his best to make Tamar a star to the exclusion of Toni. I see where he is coming from. Toni is the consistent money maker despite her multiple bankruptcies, but Vince is married to Tamar and if I have learned anything from watching this show it is that Tamar can be a little cranky when she does not immediately get her own way.
Because Vince was fired by Toni, Tamar and Toni are no longer speaking to each other except for the show and are no longer doing interviews together for the show.
It is pathetic that these 2 even have a show.
ReplyDeleteVH1 is a fucking joke now. I boycotted it years ago, along with MTV and E!. No one is allowed to watch those channels in my house.
Why would you name your child Tamar? It's a Biblical name, but the bible story was about how she was raped by her brother (or half-brother?). Why would you want your child associated with that story?
ReplyDeleteFeisty - I did not know that. That is weird.
ReplyDeleteTamar should be happy someone is paying attention to her. She seems the most resentful that Toni became a star and not her.
Bitch or not, Tamar makes the show for me.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, I didn't know it was back!! I'm surprised my DVR didn't pick it up. Oh wait, it's Time Warner formerly Adelphia...so, I am not surprised actually. Tamar makes me crazy.com
ReplyDeleteToni looks coked up in that photo.
ReplyDeleteAnybody remember "Starting Over?" With Iyanla, Rhonda and Dr. Stan? One if the Braxtons was on that show (maybe Tamar) and talked about Toni signing a solo contract without letting her sisters know she was leaving until she was gone. Cold...more of the same Braxton zaniness, I guess....
