The Situation Is Broke
At least Snooki knows that Jersey Shore will not go on forever. The reality star was interviewed in GQ. In the same interview where the best selling author admits again that she has read like two books in her life, she also says that The Situation is already broke. "I'm not going to spend money like Mike. He is already broke." Yes, despite getting paid almost six figures per episode for the show and half that for promotional appearances, The Situation always needs the next paycheck to live. See, this is a guy who does not appreciate reality show history or what your plan should be. Work 24 hours a day for the entire life of your show making as much money as you can from wherever you can and save every last penny of it. You don't need to spend a dime. Live in hotel rooms provided by companies, eat the free stuff from where you are appearing and just keep saving and saving. When the run of good luck ends, you should have enough to live on forever. All The Situation is doing is setting himself up for opening up Payless Shoes Stores five years down the road and in ten asking if you want fries with that at his day job while he lives with 4 roommates and reminds everyone how big he used to be.
stupid stupid stupid. I don't feel sorry for him one bit.
ReplyDeleteI abhor the guy. Who knows if what she's saying is true though. Grain of salt. She doesn't handle his finances. I wouldn't doubt it though, cocaine tends to drain the wallet quickly.
ReplyDeleteHe is as dumb as he looks.
ReplyDeleteSnooki is the bright one and putting money away? I am truly surprised. Good for her! : )
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, I'm quite certain Sitch (yeah, I wrote that) is 48 and with the way he smokes and tans, maybe knows he won't live past 50.
ReplyDeleteNo! You don't mean it!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm. Considering that 9 out of 10 things that come out of Snooki's disgusting mouth are lies lies and more lies, why would I believe this? How is Snooki privy to Sitch's banking? I call bullshit on all of this. Mike seems to be the only one with half a brain, actually. And didn't he run the negotiations for his fellow cast mates, who all hate him now? Whatever. These people have the maturity levels of really ignorant 9 year olds. And that's overestimating.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he is one of those people
ReplyDeletewho banks all his money and tells people he is broke so they pick up the tab.
Idiot
ReplyDelete@Ardleigh- That is my go to excuse to get out of going somewhere or doing something I don't want to do. It usually works.
ReplyDeleteWow...and he was making something like $5 million a year after the first or second season of Jersey Shore. He was making more than all of them.
ReplyDeleteAHAHAHAH awesome. I hope this is true.
ReplyDeleteWhile this wouldn't necessarily surprise me (I read a GQ or RS interview with him last year and he has all these managers hustling for him and is living well), I agree with Susan that Snooki is a massive liar. She lies like some of us breathe. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteSnooki,CPA. Certainly should attract many youngsters to the profession.
ReplyDeleteWhen pictures of him driving around town in a new $200,000 Ferrari started circulating on the internet a few months ago, I knew this guy was blowing through all his cash. His face just says "stoopid."
ReplyDeletelooks like it's time for situation to get situated in Celebrity Rehab.
ReplyDeleteI think I remember from season 3 (?) The Situation mentions that the girls run up their bar tab, leave, and then he has to pay for it. That would make sense as to why he is broke as a joke.
ReplyDeleteUm .. can we devoted CDAN posters and loyal readers have a reality show for a year or so?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, we would be fun, witty and probably educational to the TV viewers with our amazing knowledge of celebrities. But most important .. we would come out of the experience knowing how to save the money and live off of it for a life time .. unlike these idiots!
Kills me to think I have been out of work now for 12 years and these idiot children have seen and spent more money than I will likely see in my lifetime.
Just judging from how her family was on that episode of H8R (yeah, I watched that episode. Sad, I know.), I don't think they would let Snooki waste her money. She might be a little full of herself, sometimes, but her parents and extended family seem to help keep her from getting too big of a head.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I took out from the article is that if/when the fame dies down, Snickers wants to go finish her degree (good) but that would mean she'd be a vet tech. Would you want Snookie working on your pet? I know I sure as hell wouldn't.
ReplyDelete^^ LOL
