Piers Morgan Quits America's Got Talent
Piers Morgan announced on his show last night on CNN that he was quitting his other show, America's Got Talent because the two are too tough to juggle. Oh, but not too tough to juggle is hosting the Academy Awards which he says he would love to do. He said this of course on his own without any prompting because you know, no one was going to ask him or suggest him, but this way he throws it out there and people will talk about it and then realize that he would be a really bad host for the show. As a judge on America's Got Talent? Meh. He should be grateful for it because that is how he got the CNN gig. I still never really watch his show unless I am flipping through channels and then see him on there. The only time I truly find him interesting is when he wiggles and squirms when people ask him about his role in the wiretapping of celebrities.
Does this mean AGT will be pulling Larry King out of cryogenic suspension to take his spot?
ReplyDeleteAwwweee. I have 2 jobs too, plus school. Poor baby. Can someone bring him to the spa?
ReplyDeleteI find him to be a pompous ass.
ReplyDeletePiers Morgan hosting the Academy Awards?! Like they aren't boring enough! It'd 6 hours of him bitching about how inferior American cinema is.
ReplyDeleteActually, he's the judge I sided with most on AGT. Probably won't watch it unless they get someone who isn't afraid to actually state an honest opinion!
ReplyDeleteRyan Seacrest could show this guy how it's done. I swear Seacrest is the hardest worker in showbiz.
ReplyDelete@RQ - I would have preferred Seacrest in this spot as well.
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd read on here that his show wasn't doing that well, ratings wise? What happens if they cancel it?
Now if they could just get him off of CNN.
