Paz De La Huerta Spills Huge Reveal For Boardwalk Empire **Spoiler**
I don't know if Paz De La Huerta was drunk, but given her history it is probably not too much of a long shot to think she was when she was at a party and a fan asked her a question about Boardwalk Empire. Probably just out of curiosity and not really expecting anything, a fan asked for a teaser about the finale. According to The NY Post, Paz, who plays Lucy and gave birth this season said that her baby dies. Well, yes, that would be a reveal, now wouldn't it. HBO has got to be ticked off, but just said they don't comment on plot points or story lines. Want to know how bad Paz got into trouble for saying it? Have someone go up to her at a party and ask her again and see if she says that she can't say anything. Of course if you have a bottle of booze, you might change her mind.
That Paz. Went from a hot mess to simply a mess.
ReplyDeleteAm still surprised how she can booked deals. She can hardly walk a red carpet straight!
But I'd rather hear about Paz than any of that Klan anyday.
Sorry but this cannot just be alcohol, this chick has to be on something
ReplyDeletei guess she couldn't work in a Chris Nolan movie
ReplyDeleteWhy was she cast? This chick is just fugly, in addition to apparently being irresponsible and undependable.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a hot mess. One of the most embarrassing spectacles I've ever seen was her taking over the mic from Steve Buscemi at last year's Emmy's and acting as if the award was a validation of HER.
ReplyDeleteI'm only intrigued about the guy with the war mask. Those Hustons are one helluva talented family.
ReplyDeleteShe's my favorite mess, because she's just SUCH A MESS, and I doubt that it's a put on (a la Courtney Stodden, whose legitimacy I sometimes question).
ReplyDeleteI want to put mascara on her every time I see her face.
She is just plain nasty! I just can't even hardly think about her because that blind of Lainey's It WAS Lainey's wasn't it? About the naked scenes and uh, woman's personal hygeine?)always hits my brain, ugh!
ReplyDeleteI really like that show but frankly, I don't think Paz is sober enough that she even remembered the plot. She may have just made it up. She wasn't on the last show and I'm hoping they're getting rid of her. The idea of her character is good, she's just a horrible actor and is just not believable in that role. Haven't seen her in anything else and don't plan to try.
ReplyDelete@B626 - I love Jack Huston's character - I'm really hoping they have a relatively happy ending for him but probably won't.
ReplyDeleteShe's truly as dumb as she looks.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is a matter with her arm pit/boob?
ReplyDeleteI feel like I need to check into Promises just looking at this picture.
ReplyDeleteI love this show. But every week when it's time to watch, I always have to mentally prepare. It's so intense. And there's always 20 different story lines per epi. The recap before the week's show starts always cracks me up because it covers like 100 different things.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the character of Lucy has grown on me this season. And I actually think it has a lot to do with the Paz character. She sounds like an awful person in real life, but I do think she's been doing a bangup job portraying Lucy.
i guess the twist was supposed to be you think Margaret's daughter dies becuase of polio but Abigal dies instead.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad, it was nice to see Van Alden get soft around his daughter.
me thinks we won't see much of Ms. Paz next season.
I think a huge part of why she's always stumbling around is because her eyes are so damn small! Seriously, I've never seen a person with such tiny eyes.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with Sadie. What the hell is going on with her right armpit/boob area?
@ timebob - I think Paz's days are numbered on the show as well. They seemed to easily write her off.
ReplyDeleteYes, I suppose we're supposed to be thinking Abigal dies. I haven't watched this week's epi, so I'm not up to speed.
I'm not really shocked by the baby dying. A spoiler about Jimmy or another player would be more exciting for me.
@SusanB "I don't think Paz is sober enough that she even remembered the plot": LMAO!
ReplyDeleteShe always has that stupid look on her face like Courtney Stodden and yeah, would it kill her to wear some eye make up? She needs it!
ReplyDeleteSusan - I agree she's actually good in that role.
ReplyDeleteIf Lainey's blind is to be believed ,they're definitely planning on doing away with her character. She's more trouble than she's worth, apparently.
I think her right implant is trying to escape through her armpit!
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I think maybe she was screwing with the fan. But that's kinda awful if she was. You know by saying her characters baby died.
ReplyDeleteI think she very much contributed to the success of Boardwalk's first season. Now, not so much. If Lainey's blind is to be believed, her scenes would be cut down even more for next season. Unless they kill her off.
ReplyDeleteActually Lucy is one of my favorite characters from Boardwalk Empire BECAUSE she is so out there. I was really hoping to see her character flourish this season and see her grow with a bit more depth..alas you know, no more about her than you did last season.
ReplyDeleteShe and Courtney Love should hang out together.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who she is (other than being in the dictionary under definition of "hot mess") so I googled her and holy hell!:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUfvVHvOkN4
we are related by 6 degrees of separation. My great grandparents are linked to hers! Maria Felix Huerta
ReplyDeleteI think the side thing has to do with surgery she had
ReplyDelete@Vicky Cupper - Thanks for making me spit out my tea laughing!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I just love this wacky woman. I read an article about her and I was hooked.
ReplyDeletei'm with RQ and susan. she's a total mess, but she's GOOD in that role. maybe she's playing herself. whatever, it works, and she's excellent.
ReplyDeletei just figured she's gone. had the baby, got some cash and took off.
I swear this silly trick plays herself in the show. She is just as cringeworthy in the show as in real life and I feel really dirty when I watch her.. blech! @ EMEYEKAY I completely agree about the mascara! You just know she does her own make up and thinks she looks like hot sh*t! Ugh!
ReplyDeletelol@ nancer.. didn't realize it till just now but ya beat me to it about the playing her self thing.
ReplyDeleteShe is so incredibly unattractive - and THEN she opens her mouth. I can see her in a few years making herself "available" as an escort because she can't get an acting gig. They probably hired her because she'll shed her clothes at a moment's notice.
ReplyDeleteMost overrated show on tv. Even the SPOILER is boring.
ReplyDeleteShe looks and sounds like Melanie Griffith which is not a good thing.
ReplyDelete@Buckwald VonSnide - I think The Walking Dead is the most overrated show on TV. It is simply awful. The acting, the dialogue, the pace, EVERYTHING.
ReplyDelete@Rocket Queen -- I agree re The Walking Dead. It's dreadful, dull, and disgusting.
ReplyDelete@RQ, don't start me on the Walking Dead!!! I just had the debate with my brother. Forget the acting, the WRITING, THE WRITING has become so bad to what used to be an interesting premise. How can you make your people act so dumb!
ReplyDeleteThe only guy I like is Dale. And he plays a racist red neck. Go figure!
No, no, Dale is the older, mature, meddlin' guy who drives the RV. Darryl is the redneck, and he's def the most interesting character.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I've been disappointed by the season, too.
I haven't watched Boardwalk cause I heard it was VERY slow and boring. We seem to have some lovers here-shoud I check it out?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I loved Walking Dead-BUT I will watch anything zombie!
@momster - you're right! Darryl not Dale.
ReplyDelete2nd day without coffee, and it's not going well at all. Am not able to access data, very forgetful these days.
@girltrav - felt the same thing last season when I tried watching mid-season. But then this summer I decided to watch the whole season, and wow! It's actually quite fast paced. There is always something happening, and you're on the edge of your seat, or your mouth is left hanging wide open at the end of most episodes. Go for it. I did not regret it.
Walking Dead got fucked up when they fired Frank Darabont. What the fuck were they thinking?!
ReplyDeleteI'm a HUGE fan of the show. I totally agree that she plays herself but that it works well for her character, she's supposed to be completely off her fucking rocker! While this is a spoiler it left me thinking 3 things... was she drunk, thinking that she was making a joke or did she mean that Emily dies? But more then anything I was thinking that I'm not surprised... all season I was waiting for "the ball to drop" and she did position herself at the top of some stairs at one point. It's such a gut wrenching show and as badly as I wanted that to be a little glimmering light of a story line I never thought that baby would be born healthy. Once it was, I really thought Van Alden's wife would be super pissed but take the baby in as her own.
ReplyDelete@Girltrav it can seem slow if you don't let yourself get wrapped up in it from the start of each episode. I had this weeks episode on as I was folding laundry and doing some menial tasks and by the 1/2 way mark I was thinking it was a shitty episode. I tried again later when i could dedicate my attention to it and before I knew it the end credits were rolling. And i still say it was only a good episode, not even close to one of the best.
Ugh, that picture...
ReplyDeletegirltravl - I'm from outside Atlantic City and my best friend's father is the author of the book that this show is based on, so my whole entire town was majorly pumped for the show when it premiered. But, I have to say, not many people I know are into this show for the long haul. Many people I know say it is just too much to handle. I think people were expecting something like the Sopranos, and it's really not. It's very historical and intricate. There are SO MANY characters. I find the whole thing fascinating. The actors who portray Lucky Luciano and Chalky White and Al Capone are freaking amazing. Gretchen Mol's character is very bizarre to me. I don't know. I think the whole show is worth it. Plus, I need an intellectual show to fill my void with this foreva eva Mad Men hiatus.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes find some of the goings on to be ridiculous, but I guess I could say that about any show, right.
Anyway, hope that helps.
What are the Lainey blinds re: Paz or as Dlisted calls her, Spaz. Hee.
I don't care what you say, she was AMAZING in the episode where she was teetering back and forth on the top of the steps. And then the epi where she delivered the baby by herself. I found her to be riveting. I read an article about Paz in NY Times or NY Magazine. I don't know it was crazy long. She annoyed me. Always naked and goofy and spaced out and exuding sex. Get a grip, lady. I could see how working with somebody like that can get old really really fast.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's giving up on The Walking Dead. I agree the only character worth watching is Darryl (holla Boondock Saints!) - the motorhome guy, Lori and Andrea all make me want to punch something. And I WANT to like Shane, but the way he bobs his head as he's "acting" drives me insane.
ReplyDeleteI still have to watch the first season!! I tried watching the first few episodes but couldn't get into it. Need to try again.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Paz will still be employed after this?
