Kim Kardashian Gets Monthly Magazined
I have said it in this space many many times. If you are a celebrity, want to be a celebrity, or have the way to tell a celebrity something, tell them never ever ever talk about your wonderful significant other in a monthly magazine. Never. A weekly one is ok if it is within three days of it hitting the newsstands.
The problem with doing these interviews is that they are done months in advance so by the time the magazine hits the market, something has probably happened to your relationship and you end up looking like an idiot. Fortunately, looking like an idiot is not hard for Kim Kardashian, but her interview in the December issue of Marie Claire is another warning for celebrities discussing their love lives to a monthly magazine. Some quotes from Kim about Kris Humphries include,
“I’m not worried about him at all.”
“We have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that.”
“It makes life so easy.”
“He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check.”
“He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time.”
“Sometimes my life can be really intimidating for people, but he allows me to work and do what I’ve gotta do.”
You know what is missing though? Do any of you see any love here? All I see are the same thing I would hear from a friend or a refrigerator. Seriously, if you substitute refrigerator it kind of works. This is a woman who had been married for about a month when she gave the interview. Do you see any sparks? This is about as boring as her sex tape.
