I guess if you read the first part of the headline, then the second is more of a given than if I just wrote that Kelly Osbourne went to the hospital. If I just had written that then you could have had a few seconds to speculate why she went to the hospital and if you chose to not read the post, you could have spent an entire day just making your way through the possibilities of why and how she ended up in the hospital. You could have begun with the old celebrity stand by of dehydration and exhaustion. Have you ever met a classification of people that gets more dehydrated or exhausted as easily as celebrities. How many of your friends have ever been admitted to the hospital for dehydration or exhaustion? Statistically speaking, celebrities must be the most dehydrated and exhausted people on the planet. You could have moved from that through your various drug and alcohol problems to the flu which is another popular celebrity disease. Then as the day progressed you could have stepped things up a notch and moved on to your crazier things like ink poisoning from a tattoo or injured in the Oklahoma earthquake or the victim of a Somalian hijacking. I want you to know that I am sorry for ruining your day with the combined headline and hope you will find something else to contemplate today.
In the meantime I will tell you she cracked it open, kept passing out so went to the hospital, where her mom came and picked her up. Yeah, I liked the Somali hijacking thing better too.
Did she fall and crack it open laughing too hard on how fat Christina has gotten?
ReplyDeleteWell, whatever it is, get well.
And BTW, stars go to the hospital for "dehydration" so they can have the "intravenous" diet for 3 day, drop pounds easily, and look "glowing" on the red carpet.
That chick from Will and Grace used to do it all the time.
I like the girl, but she's said some piss poor shit lately, and though I do't wish hurt on her, I think this translates to karma.
ReplyDeletethis year i was at hospital for dehydration(in fact a complication of gastroenteritis)during 2 days
ReplyDeleteSharon Osbourne is supposed to explain what happend on The Talk today. Anything for ratings.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot Piven's mercury poisoning.
ReplyDeleteIf my head was cracked open I surely hope I would be rendered unconscious as to be unaware my brain matter was exposed grossing people out.
ReplyDeleteEh, I've had friends hospitalized for dehydration. If you have a stomach virus and aren't on top of getting enough fluids, it happens.
ReplyDeleteI had a party a couple of years ago (nothing wild and crazy) where one of my friends passed out on my front lawn. Twice. We called an ambulance, they stuck an IV in her and she stayed at the event (I have 3 ER nurse friends). She'd been at the pool all day and had only had a couple of glasses of wine to drink.
Of course, this is in Dallas where it's easy to get heat sick. California, I side eye that.
That has never happaned to anybody I know. The dehydration and exhaustion bit, that is. But I have never lived in a warm climate, so that might have something to do with it.
ReplyDeleteI recently had the flu which lasted 2 1/2 weeks and I ended up having IV fluids 4 different times because of dehydration. I didn't get admitted though. Just laid there for a few hours getting the fluids and then sent home each time.
ReplyDeleteNever (personally) known anyone that war hospitalized for dehydration or exhaustion. But I will say this, I worked at a very large hospital for 10 years where I assigned all the beds for patients that were staying overnight. The required information included diagnosis and I would say out of every 5000 admissions, 3 were for exhaustion and/or dehydration.
ReplyDeleteI dislike this person. Always have, but her comments last week about her ex cheating on her with a "chick with a dick" being so much worse than if it had "just been a chick" were utterly revolting. Nasty person.
ReplyDeleteSo how did she crack her head open then? I say she did it with pills and a whiskey chaser on the veranda. Sorry babe, time for Celebrity Rehab. Oh, and Sharon will lie about it.
ReplyDeleteI've lived in Phoenix for years and have yet to know anyone who's been hospitalized for dehydration.
ReplyDeleteI have been hospitalized for dehydration. I had the flu, lived alone and didn't drink enough fluids. It was such a horrible experience; the saline is OK but the potassium feels like shards of glass going into your veins. Very painful.
ReplyDeleteNow I always have Powerade, ginger ale and chicken noodle soup in the house.
As for Kelly...Meh, if it was serious they would have admitted her.
Per Kneepads, someone was dipping her at a club and she hit her head on an amplifier.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree on the part about celebs being hospitalized for dehydration/exhaustion more than anyone on the planet. :-/
I had a severe migraine and puked without mercy for two days. They put me in the hospital with an IV and meds until I could stop throwing up and the head ache went away.
ReplyDeletePersonally everytime THEY get hospitalized for that I hear in my head: " They are put hospital for exhaustion and dehydration from taking too many laxitives and shitting out their brains."
