Jennifer Nettles Marries "Former Model And Entrepreneur"
Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland got married over the weekend to the guy you see above. Does he look like a former model to you? Apparently he is. His modeling experience includes being cast in a Sugarland video 5 years ago. That is when he met the still married Jennifer Nettles who got divorced the following year. Coincidence? Probably not. Now though her husband has given up his dreams of following in Zoolander's footsteps and is an entrepreneur. I think Jessica Simpson's boyfriend used to be one of those. Now he is a life coach. These are all just code words for unemployed. There is nothing wrong with this guy living off Jennifer. I just wish they would be honest about it. You never see Christina Aguilera's boyfriend pretending to be a life coach or entrepreneur. The guy knows his job is to be Christina's boyfriend. Oh, and bartender. There is an equivalent profession for women with rich guys. It usually involves being called a stylist. Another favorite is designer.
And my favorite, for political mistresses, businesswoman
ReplyDeleteMy stepdaughter wanted to be a life coach. She was all of 22 years old. Thank God her father explained she didn't know enough about life herself to coach others through it. At the time she couldn't even support herself.
ReplyDeleteJust looking at that picture I don't get the sense there's a lot of affection from him... It just seems cold to me.
ReplyDeleteNext time your wife buys you a big-boy suit, go up a size. Yeesh those pants are tight. My own thighs are feeling constricted just looking at them.
ReplyDeleteThe whole "life coach" trend has always made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteIf that guy's a model, I'm the queen of fucking England.
@susan, your Majesty
ReplyDeletenot to be rude, but wtf ia a life coach? a mommy?
ReplyDelete@ME a life coach is someone like James Arthur Ray. People who take your money to give you dumb advice.
ReplyDeleteJames just happend to kill 3 people in following his "coaching".
If these women can afford to keep the men financially. The men keep them happy and seem faithful.
More power to women flipping the script.
Well when celebrity dudes marry some unknown chick, isn't she always a Model? W/E
ReplyDeleteI'm reaaaaally tired of guys like this giving entrepreneurs a bad name. So many of them work 80 hours a week to make sure their business succeeds. In cases like this, it's just a cover for mooching off their woman..
ReplyDeleteI also like the resume upgrades. JLo or Britney dates a backup dancer and he automatically becomes a choreographer. Julia Roberts marries a cameraman and he becomes a cinematographer.
ReplyDeleteMy husband would be happy if I earned enough money for him to stay home. Wouldn't bother me either.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't think even if I were uber wealthy I would want to be with someone who is unemployed. I need to respect what my partner does every day.
ReplyDeleteLike Anne Hathaway's fiance he is a jewlery designer/actor..code for unemployed.
ReplyDeleteI agree that he needs to get a larger suit. that is about 5 sizes too small.
ReplyDeletewell, at least the sexes are changed from the usual. usually its a male celebrity who marries a 'model.' now its a female.
Hee hee, Anne Hathaway's fiance is a "jewelry designer"
