Holly Robinson Peete Still Doesn't Know Why She Was Fired
Holly Robinson Peete says in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she still does not know why she was fired from the show The Talk. Two words Holly. Julie Chen. Holly did not kiss enough Julie butt and so she was shown the door so someone could be brought in who would really appreciate some good butt kissing. Julie would probably love to fire everyone on the show, but because Sara Gilbert created the show, Julie is kind of stuck with her. Holly says no one ever sat her down and explained why she would not be returning for the second season. No one spoke to her agents. No one explained to her what she did wrong, if anything. The closest she comes to blaming Julie Chen is when she says, “The main issue with The Talk is when you have somebody who’s in a power position and who can make decisions, there’s not a lot of recourse, there’s not a lot of discussion,” she says. “And so because of that, they can pretty much do what they want.”
Julie Chen better hope that Les Moonves never divorces her or gets fired by CBS because she probably has burned so many bridges she will never work again.
