Candy Spelling Wins $90K At Slots - But Do The Math

Yesterday when I read about Candy Spelling winning $90K while playing slots in Vegas and her other big wins of $200K and $180K I thought that is pretty impressive. But you know what? It really is not all that impressive. First of all she only has three big wins in four years of playing. Plus, it is not like she is playing quarter or dollar slots. Candy is playing slots ranging from $100 to $1000. Many people will put in $100 into a dollar slot machine. Sometimes you make your $100 back, but most of the time you don't. So, if Candy put $100K into a slot machine when she goes or even assuming she plays the $100 slots, then $10,000 a time, and you only have three wins to show for it in four years, then that is not that great of a return. It is not like she is only going once a year and pulling the lever once.

Candy loves to win and when you are worth $600M, everything is relative. Speaking of relatives, can you imagine having Dean as your son-in-law. Do you think he looks at her and wonders when she is going to leave everything to him. Oh, and Tori.

  1. Every time I look at her I remember Aaron Spelling was married to Carolyn Jones first, how do you go from the beautiful Carolyn to the pig faced Candy ?

  2. I see Candy has put on weight. I remember hearing a rumor that she was a call girl before she married Aaron, the original Pretty Woman

  3. I don't have the patience for the slots. If I don't win in a few pulls, I lose interest. Last time I played I put a 20 in the $1machine and hit for like $17 within a couple pulls. That's it, cashed out.

I guess other than disapproving of how they met and hooked up, I like Tori and Dean. I will admit I am a fan of their shows. Dean won't inherit anything and I am not sure that Tori will either, but her three children will for sure.

  5. I haven't been to Vegas yet, but last time I was at a casino, after about 30 minutes I was bored with the slots. Isn't everything rigged anyway?
