WHAT cast of a popular TV series is so miserable that they can’t wait for their show to come to an end? The stars always put on their best poker faces during group interviews, but behind the scenes they’re desperately ripping each other apart!
I thought of Desperate Housewives too, what an insufferable show that has become. It started out good and then it just went downhill after the first season. How disappointing to have to go to work every day to that situation. I have no idea why they don't end the series sooner rather than milk them.
Yeah its Desperate Housewives. Rumors last year that most of them did not want to come back to film this last season. Wow, NE published something that could actually be true.
Clearly, it's Desperate Housewives. But I have it on very good authority that the Grey's Anatomy set is one of the most miserable and contentious ones around, starting with the EP/Creator/HBIC (emphasis on B) Shonda Rhimes.
I got it from a crew member who worked on the Grey's set for many seasons (and now works for Private Practice, another Shonda Rhimes show, but one in which he said is a much better environment because for the most part, the actors are much more professional and respectful of one another). The only members of the original cast this guy thinks are still a decent human beings are Patrick Dempsey and the woman who plays Dr. Bailey (I'm blanking on her name).
Oh wait, crew member also liked the guy who plays Chief Webber. But he really thinks Patrick Dempsey is cool, apparently Dempsey doesn't cop any attitude with crew and has a friendly relationship with many of them.
It must really suck to have to drag yourself out of bed to get paid $400,000 a week. (According to TV Guide.com, that's what DH cast members were making about a year ago.)
Better to have to park cars or pump gas. Or turn tricks.
Glee
ReplyDeleteGlee!
ReplyDeleteObviously Desparate Housewives... desparately, poker, all clues.
ReplyDeleteHousewives was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's my thought too Cathy!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we are all just as desperate for it to end also.

ReplyDeleteDesperate Housewives and I think we are all tired of it.
ReplyDeleteI'd pay to see Felicity Huffman beat up Eva Longoria, honestly. I canNOT see those two being BFFs.
ReplyDelete"Chuck" for the win. I heard Zach Levi and Yvonne Strahovski got into an on set bitch-slapping last week over the size of their trailers.
ReplyDeleteHaha I totally forgot Desperate Housewives was even on still!
ReplyDelete@Moose - really? wow.
ReplyDeleteThe clues point to DH.

My first thought was Grey's Anatomy, but you're probably right that "desperately" is a clue.
