Naked Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo? No Thanks

Yesterday for some reason I recorded the Michael Jackson trial. I have no idea why I did this since my DVR is at a constant 92% full. The one maddening thing about a DVR is how little it actually holds. Think about how many movies, songs and television shows your computer can hold but for some reason the DVR can barely hold a one season worth of a couple of shows. The issue then becomes like picking which show or movie you like best. Do I delete the bacon special or keep that episode of Parks & Rec where Ron Swanson dances with his hat on. I do realize that NBC and Netflix have that same episode, BUT, what happens if they decide to be Netflixian and charge $50 an episode or NBC says no more free shows? Then I am stuck without Ron Swanson dancing in a hat.

So, I am shocked, and possibly blame the cat or tequila for recording the Michael Jackson trial. Before sending the trial into oblivion and getting my 8% back, I took a quick look. You know, one of those lets watch it at triple speed and if anything looks interesting, I will stop. Well, all of a sudden I saw an image and I thought to myself that can't be right. Turns out I was right and it was a picture of a naked and deceased Michael Jackson on an autopsy table. Uggh. Thankfully they did black out the peen. I really did not need to see that photo. I am not sure why they even showed the photo. I think we can all stipulate to the fact that Michael Jackson is dead. I don't need to see photographic proof. I won't believe those stories in The Globe in 30 years that he is drinking buddies with Elvis and Jim Morrison. And even if somehow they needed to show the picture in court, why do I need to see it?

  1. Holy shit. And I thought the one they kept showing on the news was bad. I really REALLY hope they don't show this everywhere. No one, except sick fucks, wants to see his autopsy photo. His poor kids having to relive this over and over makes me ill.

  2. WTF? How is that even legal? The idea of some show airing my naked body on an autopsy table after I'm gone makes me feel homicidal.

  4. Shame on the judge for not keeping the picture private. :(

On a lighter note, LOL at the DVR rant!

  5. Saw this on TMZ yesterday. Not necessary. Just disturbing and disrespectful. I feel for his loved ones.

  6. I don't think it matters if the "death photo" is shown as proof of death because people will believe what they want to believe about someone's death, so you might as well skip showing it to the public. I think it's awfully morbid to release it personally.

  7. its a public trial of course the media are going to jump on a free picture like that.

But if it helps gets Murray convicted then so be it.

  8. Enty - my DVR has a "record to tape" option - why not use that to record the episodes you never want to lose?

BTW - a bacon special? Yum - wish I'd seen that!

I saw the pictures on TMZ as well and thought they were disturbing. He was TINY and did not look healthy at all.

  11. I work at UCLA and my friend's hubby is a higher-up in the UCPD. He was personally with the body awaiting the helicopter to take it away. Michael is most definitely dead (even before that photo surfaced).

  12. ^^He's not dead! I just saw him with Elvis and Jim Morrison at the Starbucks!

Seriously, tho', I made a mission of deleting old shows and freeing up space on our DVR yesterday. Gone are Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, and Ghosthunters, lol.

  13. I think he's dead too but there are definitely weird circumstances surrounding his death.

I've seen other famous people's dead pics...yea, it is tasteless, but I just can't help myself.

  14. Enty, do you have cable DVR? We had the storage issue w/ Charter but when we switched over to Direct TV we have a ton space. But I get your DVR rant. It's really annoying. But then again I watch WAY too much TV. ;)

  15. "Thankfully they did black out the peen".

I had to read that twice and even then I was thinking about that awful tv message with MJ saying that he had to show his p*nis (I hate typing out that word-don't know why) to the police and investigators during the molestation trial, he was actually wearing false eyelashed and eyeliner, too weird!
