Lucy Davis Files For Divorce From Owain Yeoman
After being basically separated for the past three years, but officially since January, former UK Office star, Lucy Davis filed for divorce from her husband, Owain Yeoman who is on The Mentalist. You know, if you combine him with Simon Baker, do you think that show has the best looking pretty boys on it? I think other shows have the claim on the gritty good looking people, but also they are on cable and The Mentalist is on CBS. Anyway, Lucy was the original Pam before Jenna Fischer became Pam. If you have never seen the UK version of The Office it is brilliant. It makes you way more uncomfortable than watching the American version. The first few episodes of each are almost exactly the same if you want to compare and make sure you watch the last episode where David Brent goes on a reality tour.
He looks like the kind of man who overplucks his eyebrows, and her wedding dress is fug.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I have to say about this post.
I don't find him attractive.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, he doesn't really appeal to me either. I do like the asian guy who gets all the funny lines, though.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should check out "Extras" too. Hilariously amazing.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed The Mentalist pilot but never watched much of it afterwards, it just seemed SO predictable week after week.
ReplyDelete@Ida, if we could "Like" comments on here yours would be super "liked".
ReplyDeleteI loved the other Office but it was sometimes hard to watch as Ricky G. was SO AWFUL. I mean his character, not him. Michael Scott played dumb/clueless, but Ricky was slimy/obnoxious. Great show. I liked the Jim character.
ReplyDelete@bloodonthescreen -- Thanks, dearie. I speak from the heart. <3
ReplyDeleteI, too, do not find him attractive. At all.
ReplyDeleteAnd if I were going to go for "pretty boys" on tv, it would have to be the Supernatural guys.
clearly the prettiest pretty boys are on Vampire Diaries.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only person on Earth that hates the Office and loathes Ricky Gervais?
ReplyDeleteThat picture doesn't even look like her! She was kinda homely in the Office but it appears she grew into her looks.
ReplyDeleteAww. I'm kinda sad this didn't work out. I'm fond of Lucy Davis for being the amazing Dawn (the OG "Pam") on "The Office" and for being the daughter of one of my favorite comedians, Jasper Carrott. FYI, Lucy Davis had some severe health complications resulting from her diabetes (Type 1) several years ago -- before she got married -- and I was really happy she pulled through. Another FYI: Lucy and Owain got married at some fancy cathedral (maybe Westminster Abbey?) because her dad is an OBE (so he's SIR Jasper). (And Jasper's obv not his real name -- it's Robert Davis, I think.) (All of the above is why I can't remember to pick up certain items at the supermarket, FYI.)
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the British version of the office, and think they had the right idea to end it after just a couple of seasons. I bought it on DVD and could watch certain episodes over and over. Then again, I LOVE Ricky Gervais.
ReplyDelete@Vickie Cupper, you're maybe not the only one, but probably one of the few. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the original Office! Ricky Gervais is great!
ReplyDeleteI don't find him attractive either (and I agree with Ms Snarky about the other guy). I'd have to say that I think NCIS has some very nice looking "pretty boys."
ReplyDeleteSO nice that no one here likes Owain. All mine, I guess. I could look at him all day; he is gorgeous. He is also funny on The Mentalist. I enjoy both Owain and Tim Kang, both are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYeah the Mentalist worked for about two episodes, then they were done. I feel the same way about Bones, and I gave that show like 10 episodes to get better and then gave up. Too predictable.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ricky Gervais... My favorite man in the universe, kind of.
Hawai'i 5-O has the prettiest. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteThe only "original" part of The Mentalist was what they ripped off from Psych.
The BBC Office was BRILLIANT.
ReplyDeleteThis guy does nothing for me, either. Why did they break up?
