Lisa Irwin Mystery Man Spotted In Video
ABC News has been all over this Lisa Irwin disappearance from the beginning. For once it is not all about the cable networks or the tabloids and ABC is actually acting like a news organization. The fact they are trying has been bringing out a lot of things that I think would have remained hidden from the public or never discovered in the first place. This morning they aired a video which is really hard to see clearly but shows a man leaving an area around Lisa Irwin's house and if you believe hard enough he may be carrying a baby. As much as everyone wants to believe it, I am not so sure it is. It might just be the mind wanting to be a baby so we make it so.
A witness did say that he saw a man carrying a baby at around 4am and thought it strange because of the time and because the baby was not wearing a coat or anything despite it being so cold.
I hope they find who did this, or if it was the parents that they confess.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I sure hope this is a lead. And that the parents didn't do it. The lawyer makes it seem that they pegged the parents right from the start and were remiss in doing a thorough search.
ReplyDeleteI heard the baby was sick. What mother drinks so much she passes out when her baby has a bad cold and breathing problems??
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing smells fishy to me.
If ABC were really acting like a news organization, they would stop airing so many local crime stories, and would focus on stories that actually impact our lives. There are so many stories out there that deserve our attention. One baby missing, no matter how awful, is not something that changes my life or the lives of 99% of their viewers. Stories like the recession, OWS protests, the war in Iraq ... these arguably DO impact my life. I'm tired of these 'baby missing' stories being paraded around as national news. On my local news channel? Maybe...a big maybe. On national TV? Purely entertainment (and sick entertainment) masquarading as news.
ReplyDeleteSeachica -- ITA. The news has gone to sh*t. Ratings rule. Really annoying.
ReplyDeleteI hope the baby is ok.
Ditto Seachica! Ditto!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't seem fair that a woman like this, who's unworthy, could be a mother, and yet there are millions of women out there who would be phenominal mothers and can't have children.
ReplyDeletePeople watch network news??
ReplyDeleteI watch the BBC world news because I don't have cable and find it's the best option on my PBS station. I hadn't heard anything about this story until I read about it here.
ReplyDeleteSince every GD "news" channel has talked for hours ad nauseum about this story, and NO ONE can let the police just do their JOBS (even if some do a poor one...) I will say this: The second I read that the baby had a cold and cough I am sorry to admit it but I thought "so the mom overdosed the baby on benadryl or other cold meds and she died in the crib."
ReplyDeleteIt would not be the first baby over-medicated baby, even by a non-drunk mother! I've heard about moms giving it on purpose to make the kid shut up and go to sleep, and I don't think that is an urban myth.
There was also a couple who saw a man with a baby in their neighborhood, they did report it the next day. That's three different people who saw a man with a baby. This is getting weird. I still think the dad is creepy.
ReplyDelete@selena it is not an urban myth at all. My co-worker freely admits to giving her toddler baby benadryl before long flights so they will fall asleep and not make a fuss during the flight. BTW they were very clear it was "baby" not "adult" like that makes it any better. You drugged your kid for your own purposes.
ReplyDeleteI was disgusted and told her she is creating a drug addict for a kid and it won't be so easy when they are teenagers out of control.
Ooh, I had a screaming baby on my flight this morning. The ENTIRE flight. In my ear. I don't advocate drugging but I sure as hell wish the mother had tried something.
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell anything from that video. These people are nuts. How can you get anything other than a figure walking?
Babies can't pop their ears, so they often have bad pain from the pressure changes of a flight. I wouldn't give a kid anything without talking to a doctor first, but I don't think there's anything wrong with giving them a mild sedative for flying.
ReplyDelete@Mooshki - I shouldn't have said baby...it was actually a 2-3 year old. Who I guess might be in the same boat with cabin pressure. But anyway, I hate being bitchy about stuff like that but I get VERY panicky when I fly so the blood curdling screams didn't help. :)
