Kristin Davis Adopts A Baby

Sometimes you can tell when people are not followed around by paps. How so? Because no one notices when they do something life changing unless they actually go out and tell someone. Prior to her divorce, how often did you see Sandra Bullock being followed by paps? Never, which is how she managed to hide Louis from the world. She could not do it now. I am not sure why she keeps getting followed. I guess to see if she gets a boyfriend or if Ryan Reynolds comes back over or something. Anyway, Kristin Davis adopted a baby girl several months ago and no one noticed so she made a little announcement to Kneepads and now the world knows. Kristin is 46 and says she has been wanting this for a long time. Just like Charlotte.

  1. I still can't get over how bad Sex in the City 2 was.

Happy for Kristin she seems like she will make a good mom. Low key no drama.

  2. Damn, that woman looks great at 46. Too bad her kid won't have her genes. Totally agree she seems like she would be a great mom.

  4. Great news. I guess I'm a dweeb, because I liked SATC 2. It's scary to admit it, kind of like admitting that I rob banks in my spare time.

LOL, I rented it fully prepared to hate and despise it like everyone said, and I actually thought it wasn't that bad at all. I kinda liked it too.

    So happy for Kristin!

  6. I liked Sex and the City 2 a lot!!! There is actually some theory that the movie is constantly shit on and has developed this rep as being atrocious because it is SUCH an unapologetic franchise that some of the male chauvinists in the media chose to shine a shit light and review and report it as such. Bleck!

Anyway, good on Kristin! I adore how many women are choosing to make parts of their dream for a fam happen on their own time and when they are ready-with or without a partner. I think this is a very empowering thing us women are able to do now, AND she is adopting- which onto itself is such a great thing to do.

  8. I applaud her for adopting from the US.

  9. Google for her. I know so many women who want babies but feel they "need a man" to have one. It can be helpful but you can do it on your own if you are ready, particularly if you are a financially comfortable, established adult.

  13. I didn't realize she was 46. She looks great. My daughter laughs at all of my "Charlotte" dresses. She always had the best wardrobe on Sex in the City. I am glad she was able to adopt a baby quietly. It must have been nice to be able to do it without the world watching.

  14. Good for her. Hope she is able to get those old boyfriend's photos removed from the Internet's dusty attic.

  15. I, and my husband, liked SATC2. I also feel that it was shit on because it was a 'female' film. I work with a bunch of men, and seriously I was telling my boss about an appointment I have to go to because I am planning a hysterectomy. The carry-on because I dared to mention that word, when they swear black and blue all day and I don't bat an eyelid! Mind you, I could say women's business and get any day off I wanted.

  16. Enty, why are Sandra Bullock or Jennifer Garner followed by paps and not others? but they want to be followed by paps!

X17online.com 's boss is a french ex-journalist from Paris Match and last year he did a french talk show and TV documentary .He gave several names of big celebrities who did photo op or are very "friendly" with paps (in clear they're ok to be photographed by paps)and Garner and Jackman are "friendly"(especially with their kids)or Brangelina yet did photo op together and with kids
Dicaprio,Bale and Affleck dislike paps and are totally "unfriendly"(especially they're in family):Affleck needs to talk with his wife
his fav was Britney Spears because he did so many money with her pix during her "crazy" years and also because at a moment in her life, she was so desesperate and alone, the one&only peoples who seemed to like her were the paps

  17. Pomme, I think you're right - I totally believe that the majority of pap photos we see in the tabloids and online were taken because the pap KNEW the celeb in question would be in a certain spot at a certain time...and the reason they knew is because the celeb's people called and let them know.

Look at Oprah. She is one of the most famous women in America and you never see pap pics of her.

  18. Why the comment about Ryan Reynolds? I'm thinking this was a hint about last week's blind about the tv actress.

  19. I saw SATC2 in the theater. I didn't love it, but didn't think it deserved all the hate it got either. I think they shouldn't have left NYC, which was like a 5th character. Movieline picked SATC2 as one of their recent "Movies We Love to Hate." It was quite funny/accurate.

@lutefisk - Charlotte was the best dresser, IMO. ;)

I saw both SATC movies and liked the first one better. Did not hate the second one. I would definitely go see a third if they make one. Very happy for Kristin and wish her and her baby girl a long and happy life together.
