David Boreanaz Says Cheating Made His Marriage Stronger

I guess whatever helps you sleep at night is the way David Boreanaz looks at life. He gave an interview to TV Week and talked about the only affair he has owned up to which is cheating with Rachel Uchitel. Since no one has gone public about any others he just prefers to think of it as one time he cheated. Anyway. He said in his interview that because he cheated on his wife it has made their marriage so much stronger. WTF? He said it was a "bonding experience." Yeah, I am sure his wife is thrilled that he went out and cheated. She probably thinks about the time the father of her two kids was off sleeping with Rachel and says to herself, "I am so glad he had sex with her and lied to me and betrayed me. This is just what out marriage needed."

I think the guy is just rationalizing his way out of this one. Maybe he thinks their marriage is stronger, but I doubt his wife does. I bet he is afraid to ask her though. Hopefully she does not read the Sunday paper and TV Week. Who knew they even did interviews. I thought they just were the newspaper version of Kneepads and copy and pasted whatever publicists told them to write.

  1. Yeah, I can only hope to have the bonding over the new std my husband gave me because he was unfaithful experience she was likely so lucky to have. Jackass.

I'd be bonding him over the head with a 2X4. There is no way, no matter how you feel about your man, that you would not be hurt if he cheated.

  3. Wasn't he texting his girlfriend while standing next to his wife's bed as she was in labor with their latest child? Who was he contacting, his accountant?

  4. yeah it was a douchey self serving interview.

I get the feeling Jaimie is more interested in his wallet and providing for her and the kids then what he is doing on the down low. Cheaper to keep her.

  5. Maybe this is how he keeps himself relevant? Broadcasting stuff like this makes him come off sounding like a big douche bag.

  6. Yeah, I kind of agree with timebob. For some reason I get the feeling they sort of have an understanding. He gets to do whatever (or whoever) he wants and she gets his money. And that dude is making a lot of money.

  7. Ugh, he just hits me as a giant douche. I used to follow him on Twitter but he was such an ass that I had to stop following him - which sucks because I LOVE Bones.

  8. I never found him the least bit attractive. He reminds me of the Frankenstein monster for some reason.

  9. Even if he's stepping out her, he's bringing in serious money while "Bones" is on the air, and he's probably on deck for some feature film roles. She's got to make sure his estate is pumping for their kids' sake. If he leaves, he's only going to marry someone else, have a kid with her -- leaving less money for the current wife and children in their eventual share of his assets.

  10. Image repairing.

But if they went into therapy and tried to figure out why it occured, then maybe it did save his marriage.

Maybe she was busy with the kids and didn't pay attention to her man and maybe he is a needy man that needs a lot of attention.

That's all actors right? They crave and need adoration.

I am going to scream if I read one more person try and blame the wife for their husband being a completely selfish cheating scumbag. You can be the most attentive wife ever and your insecure husband just likes the chase and thrill of new sex. There is something wrong with THEM.

  12. Me either, Momster!

I don't think he's very good looking and he's obviously not very smart, either.

  13. What a load of bullshit.
    He is such a LOSER!

She- I agree, stays for the money.

I don't feel bad for her. She chose to stay with him, and he blames a demon.

Real classy. Can't wait to hear DIVORCE, because either this is major PR or she is a real moron and is OK with this.

I also just want to say, I love whenever there is some article coming out about DB, his wife shuts her trap on Twitter.

I said they looked fake- HE LOOKED LIKE SHIT- at the Emmys.

Something is up. I don't buy their tweets or pics. It's pathetic.
Just waiting for them, Will and Jada, and Demi and Ashton to divorce. Hell, Ive been waiting for Duchovney and Leoni too. Sad.

  14. I know couples who came out stronger after he cheated. I dont understand it, I don't condone it but they survived, happily. One did separate, go through a great deal of therapy and essentially start from scratch with dating, the whole shebang. Ultimately it seems to depend on their love being deep and real and essentially falling in love again and keeping it in his pants or maybe they are swingers now? Who knows!

I am not sure I could forgive. For me trust is everything and if it were a one time thing, perhaps, but a lkng term affair, I am not sure I could trust again.

  15. Seriously, is there any bigger star fucker than Rachel Uchitel??

  16. BoreanazisPathetic: I've always thought Lionel Richie's first wife took him back for 2 years because she needed that time to have a forensic accountant scour his royalty statements and find money he'd certainly hidden in foreign accounts (where the local recording royalties and concert reeipts were hidden.) Richie has the first dollar he ever made, and cheats the people around him; that's *one* of the reasons the Commodores broke up, and why they didn't invite him to their own tribute concert.

  17. "Maybe he thinks their marriage is stronger, but I doubt his wife does," exactly. thinking he is feeling like he dodged the bullet since she didn't kick him to the curb, an she's just picking her time.
