Zara Phillips - Mike Tindall Marriage Might Not Make It Three Months

If Zara Phillips was not the granddaughter of the Queen, I don't think her marriage to rugby star Mike Tindall would have even lasted the seven weeks it has. In case you have not been following the story, Mike and Zara got married in July in front of the Queen and everyone else. Then he left for the Rugby World Cup. While there he found his way into several bars and was caught on camera making out and groping a blond who was definitely not his wife. So, Zara gets on a plane to New Zealand to keep an eye on him for the rest of the time. Now though there is news of a second tape from a different club with the same woman and it is much much more raunchy. Apparently though the owner of the club is not going to release the video because he does not want to get Mike in trouble and has invoked some type of bar code similar to Vegas about what happens in a bar stays in a bar. This is of course until a tabloid meets his price.

  1. Saw this as well as the pictures. The saddest part is that Zara seemed to be SO MUCH in love with her man.

That jerk can't keep it in his pants. Time to wake-up Zara and use a bit of monarchy power to have this sham annulled.

  2. Yeah, the pictures were pretty incriminating. I'm pretty sure he was motor-boating a blond in one that I saw.

    Oh, and go All-Blacks!

    He is quite unattractive.

  4. Mama Mia - if you have the chance to google and watch him play, as well as on his wedding day, you'll understand the hotness. But really, his actions are appalling.

  5. Dear Women of the World:
If you are going to marry a professional athlete, please understand what you are getting into. Either travel with him, accept that he will stray, or wait until he retires. Testosterone + ego + groupies makes it too easy, even for the man with the most honest of intentions. That's just reality, sadly.

  6. True that FS. Unfortunately.

Rita, I think it's his facial proportions that stump me. Oh, and the effed up teeth. Shallow, I know.
    FS, agreed.

  8. I really love Zara, mainly for her cool name and her love of horses. So I was really excited she got married, that he seemed really into her. I read an article that said the Queen really liked the guy too. He is such an ass. I feel badly for her. I wonder how the palace will handle such an extraordinary mess.

  9. Yeah, but all that takes another shape when you see him being a beast in his sport.

Still a dumbass move on his part. Zara is a very lovely woman, who got raised right by her mother who refused to give her children monarch titles, and who married for love. Unfortunately, her love is blind.

  10. I agree, Rita. I finally saw him in action in one of the recent world cup games (are you watching?). Dude is amazing.

  11. She was taught that people are good.

FS: you speak the truth, sadly. The faithful married pro athlete is few and far between, if they exist at all.

I wonder if the Queen will work to get Zara an annulment. Seems feasible, considering that he started cheating so early in the marriage.

  13. Yeah, I also see some hot there, but the brow bone is a bit too Neanderthal for my taste...

  14. I think this guy is ugly. Never been into athletes. Even Beckham doesn't move me. I like the quiet shy guys. I hope the queen annuls this and Zara finds another guy.

  15. RQ - I am. Am having heatstroke watching. Oh wait, it IS unseasonably hot for this time of year!

  16. I feel bad for her because she has been publicly humiliated and she seems like a nice lady. Lots of royals/celebs/athletes cheat, but he didn't even try to be discreet.

  17. Run, Zara. You have been given a gift of finding out now rather than years down the road with children.

  18. Rita - check out Sonny Bill Williams on the All-Blacks team. He is NUMMY. All of them have rather excellent legs :)

  19. RQ, and the buns to go with those legs. They're beasts I tell you. Sexy beasts.

    Hotflash.

Still Zara should publicly shun him. If he still wants to fool around, why get married. From what I know, him and Zara dates for quite a few years. Also, he married into ROYALTY for goodness's sake: he must know that his actions will be watched closely.

Professional Sport Star Men are Dogs. Enough said. : ( Cheaters don't change, I feel really sorry for Zara.

  21. FS--you took the words right out of my mouth.

Professional athletes? Good for a few fun times. But to *marry* one? You'd have to be nuts!! And who'd want to have to patrol your husband to keep him from fucking around??

  22. It looks like Zara and her family are saying that its all no big deal, the blonde woman is a long time family friend, and it was all just fine and normal. Him falling down drunk outside his hotel and needing help inside is not a good look.

  23. He's a rugby player. Any of you ever been on a tour with these guys? Or even just spent a day with them, pre/during/post match? Lots of flirting, lots of drinking, barrel-loads of laughter. When you've had a few pints, you'll snog anything: doesn't mean you'll go off and shag em!

I don't believe this all is half as bad as the press are making out to be quite honest, they're only milking it because of his wife! And don't compare rubgy players with other sportsmen either, have spent days with football players who all feel grabbing any bit of ass they can as if it's a divine right! I'm sure you can name other sportsmen who are just the same.

What's that saying? Football is a gentleman's game, played by thugs, Rugby is a thugs game, played by gentlemen.

    Go on Big Mike!

But ultimately, yeh, GO ALL BLACKS!

  24. They have been together for years it seems like he waited until they got married to show his true colors. Her father, Mark Phillips had a child with another woman while he was still married to her mother,Princess Anne.

  25. This has been all over the news here in New Zealand. I feel so badly for her.

Totally agree, go All Blacks! The NZ/France game was great, but I was pissed at the poor sportsmanship of the French team for that underhanded try. Total crap! Georgia and Romania are playing tomorrow in the town I live in, it's very big excitement around here. I'm not normally a rugby fan, but it's hard not to get excited when it's all around you!

  26. K - I love that saying and had never heard it before! My bf used to play football and always poo-pooed rugby until I started making him watch this World Cup - now he has huge respect for these guys....amazing athletes.

  27. I used to date Rugby player (semi-professional) and I'm going to have to agree with K. Pretty nice fellas, they are.

  32. Ok, I'm probably going to get crucified for this-- but my husband was a professional baseball player for 8 years (we were together for 6 of them) and I don't agree that ALL professional athletes are cheaters. My hubby said that it is very obvious to the teammates who's cheating (ie going out every night, etc) versus those that are not. His philosophy was always that a cheater will cheat, regardless of their profession. Athletes just have MORE chances to do it... My husband was also the leader of his teams chapel (church), organized fundraisers b/w the team and the local SPCA and volunteered at local shelters walking dogs and socializing cats. Does it mean he didn't cheat? No, I can't guarantee it, but I've also known him since 6th grade (the ONLY reason I would ever marry a pro player) and other wives would actually tell me they wanted their hubbies to hang out with mine b/c he was such a good guy. My husband also wasn't a big name guy so he didn't have the groupies flocking the way the more famous guys do. But a lot of his friends still play pro-ball and are big names/famous faces and there are some he swears are great guys that would never cheat on their significant others... Just my 2 cents :)
