A Story About Ashton Kutcher That Does Not Involve His Infidelity

Oh, before I write about CBS being ticked off at Ashton Kutcher, I want to tell you that Ashton is not the only one who sex outside the marriage in their relationship. He is just way less careful and it has not happened in a couple of years for Demi. Just sayin'. I know I made one or two of her flings into blind items way back in the day.

Anyway, if you watched the latest episode of Two And A Half Men, my first question to you would be why. The second question I would ask is if you noticed Ashton on his laptop. Well, CBS did and CBS also noticed the stickers covering Ashton's laptop are companies he has invested a whole bunch of money in which forced CBS to add disclaimers to the credits at the end of the show. CBS did not get any ad money for the placements and the only person who will benefit is Ashton. He might get into trouble with more than just CBS for this one. If you ever watch CNBC or something like that a person will disclose if they own any of the stock or equity which they are discussing. Ashton did not do that and he is promoting them.

  1. There he goes again: he has a great chance at a comeback, more in tune with his 'artistic' abilities, for really, he's no great actor or entertainer, and what does he do? He shoots himself in the foot.

    Arrogance!

  2. I want the details on Demi's flings, please! :-)

Regarding the computer, eh, who cares?

  3. It is a Big F'N DEAL! He's making a mil a week and he's advertising for more? Beyond belief.

  4. I always had a feeling that Demi still hops in the sack with Bruce.

Wouldn't the computer being used on Two and Half Men be from the props department rather than from the actor's personal life. Kind of bizarre.

  5. does anyone remember those demi blinds?

  6. CBS, you just got punk'd.

  7. Hayley - Excellent comeback!

  8. How did CBS let this get through editing is my question.

  9. Didn't he just get almost-busted a few weeks ago for doing something really similar? He must WANT the SEC to come down on him one day.

  10. Pretty sure the Demi blinds were about her and Bruce still doing it. Hopefully they quit when he married that model.

And Ashton was perfect as Kelso and will forever be Kelso. Everything else is been douchey try-hard, which leads me to believe that's his real personality.

Demi cheats as well? LMAO. Not a surprise at all. I think the blinds in questions involved her and Bruce still having sex. Hopefully before he married the latest wife. I think that his marriage to Demi imploded due to his wandering one eyed snake. ; )

  12. lol Hayley!

Didn't something like this happen last month, too? He guest 'edited' a magazine and more than half of the companies featured in the issue were companies he invested in and didn't disclose it? Dude really is trying to build himself an investing empire the dirty way.

Also, I fucking love you, Enty ;) Thanks for the dirt on ol' Demi.

  13. a) as ChasingHeaven said.... exactly! its their own fault that it slipped by in editing. they should have caught it. but now they can make a big deal about it and again try to bring in more viewer. (which to me makes them no worse and he is by doing it in the first place)

    b) foursquare? who cares? foursquare is so old and STILL no one uses it.

  14. i'm pretty sure Demi Moore and Kutcher had an open relationship these last years

  15. I would believe that Bruce and Demi still do it. Long after the divorce, Bruce would sometimes refer to "my wife Demi" in interviews. He was always a little to friendly with Ashton. Like ha ha, I'm still boning her!

  16. I thought it was a reveal about Bruce and Demi way back when.

  17. This item is weird coming from a lawyer; not sure how simply displaying a sticker can constitute a securities law violation.

  18. what reveal are you guys talking about with Demi?

  19. Enty's not a lawyer. This isn't anything close to him pitching the companies as an investment adviser while owning stock in them. But it's stupid. And I don't believe CBS, either, for one second -- like they have no control over the props and no one at any point anywhere in the editing noticed the buttload of stickers on his prop laptop. B.S.

  20. (Love Enty but the first clue he's not a lawyer came from him being the only lawyer on the planet who doesn't know that a person pleaded guilty or pled guilty -- he writes "plead guilty" as though that is the past tense every single time.)

  21. Wow, what a greedy jerk.

  22. I think it's kinda smart, besides it should have been caught by a producer, director, or editor. I'd be surprised if it wasn't ok'd.

  23. @Amy: Enty is an entertainment attorney. I know plenty of civil law attorneys who remember NOTHING of their one class in law school on criminal law. If you read or watch/listen to enough stories/videos/shows on law, you will see many people (even so-called reporters and experts) confuse "pleaded," "pled" and "plead." If you are a stickler for typos and grammar, you should know this is a gossip blog, not a grammar or law blog, and there are bound to be more than a few made by Enty and by his readers! (FYI: If you've read as many court filings as I have, you would know lawyers are notorious for bad spelling, grammar and punctuation, most of which are caught by staff before filing, but many are not!)

  25. I just read that Demi posted the following tweet:

"When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."

Knowing that she was sleeping around too totally makes sense now WRT that tweet.

  26. First, I watch Two and a Half Men because I like it, I love Jon Cryer, Conchata Ferrell and Holland Taylor. They make the show.

I don't know much about Ashton Kutcher but I thought he was funny in the movie "Cheaper by the Dozen", and I'm willing to give him a chance on TAAHM.

Shouldn't they have noticed the laptop during rehearsals?

    ReplyDelete
  27. RQ - Sounds to me that she's blaming herself for his cheating. Hope not! Or maybe she's blaming herself for him getting caught?

Hope she won't be taking all the blame for this one. A lot of Hollywood people cheat, and don't get caught. It's like he's working hard on getting caught!

    ReplyDelete
  28. If they haven't been together for months even though they're still legally married is it still cheating? Technically but, much more acceptable to the general public.
I'm fairly certain they've had an open relationship for a long time. Cheating common in the 5% of the population where people have money and/or power. Spouses turn a blind eye because its expected. The poor taste comes when you put yourself in a position where you're caught, cause a pregnancy or contract a disease.

  31. Hey! I still use Foursquare! ;)

As the other posters said, how the hell did they not catch this during rehearsals?

  32. @MacVixen The SEC wouldn't care about this. There is no way they could stretch this to make it seem as if Ashton is trying to invest in the companies.

All Ashton did was get these companies free product placement on 2 1/2 Men. And he's an idiot for thinking he can get away with it. The worst that could happen is CBS sue him for the $ the companies should have paid for product placement...and I doubt they'd have grounds for that. I'm no lawyer. ;) But I am a licensed stock broker and have worked for companies where we were actually trained to keep an eye out for illegal activity.
