No More Mr. Bean

This is some depressing news. While in Australia promoting Johnny English reborn, Rowan Atkinson says he is too old to play Mr. Bean any longer so will be retiring the character. "I’ve got a feeling I probably won’t play the character again."

Mr. Bean is one of the greatest characters invented. The man did not even need to say anything and it is just a great job of acting which allows you to get drawn into the story without much dialogue. The thing is I think he can still do the character. I don't see how it is much different from Johnny English. That character is cartoon like too, but it is not stopping him from doing the sequel to the first movie.

Wasn't he in a nasty car wreck recently?

  2. I didn't realize he'd even done Mr. Bean lately? All the episodes I've seen seem to be from the 80s and 90s.
