Minka Kelly Was Sexually Harassed On Charlie's Angels Set

Derek Jeter's ex-girlfriend, Minka Kelly was sexually harassed on the set of her new television show Charlie's Angels. According to Star, a crew member who had made a bet with some other crew member went up to Minka and slapped her butt. The crew member was given $100 for doing this. To say the least, Minka was ticked off. Even more so because the producers who were trying to calm her down kept referring to her as Derek Jeter's girlfriend and she kept saying, "No, that is not my name. We broke up. I'm Derek Jeter's ex-girlfriend."

The next day, the crew member went up to Minka to apologize and she slapped him across the face. Nice one. Not a fan of violence but the guy did smack her butt. Shortly after that the guy was removed from the set. Apparently he feels awful about it. I am sure he does and I hope the $100 lasts you awhile because you probably will not be working anytime soon.

  1. I thought the guy slapped her ass and waved a $100 bill in her face because of her mother's stripper past?

Whatever, who the f-ck is this guy to smack a woman, in her work environment nonetheless, on the ass? Or anywhere else on her body for that matter?

I say dumbass deserved the slap back as well as being fired. And that's how you deal with bullies.

  2. This must have been some new kid on the crew because in all my years on various sets I have never seen the crew attempt to touch one of the actresses (extras or no name day players, yeah). It's like a hidden code, we stay on our side you stay on yours if you want to keep your job and working in this industry. And you're right Enty this kid won't be on any sets anytime soon, if ever.

  4. asshole deserved to be fired. However, none of them will have a job come November. This shit show will certainly be canceled by then.

  5. I find it hard to accept that this really happened. Why weren't the crew members who paid/goaded him on fired too?

  6. I can't decide if Enty is being facetious with the last part of the second paragraph? Several times he has referred to Minka as "Derek Jeter's girlfriend" and people here got pissed off - is that what this is referring to?

  7. Why were the producers referring to her as Jeter's boyfriend? What does that have to do with it? Is it wrong to slap a woman's butt if she has a boyfriend, presumably because the boyfriend would be offended? Does that mean the producers would have thought it OK to slap a woman's butt if she doesn't have a boyfriend?

  8. Enty's being facetious, DaveB and RQ. Everyone made a big deal when he referred to her as "Derek Jeter's ex-girlfriend" recently, pretty sure he's joking. I thought it was funny :)

  9. I think Enty was kidding about the Derek Jeter's girlfriend thing.

That said, Butt-Slapper sounds like an immature kid who needed to learn a lesson, and hopefully now he has.

  11. Sounds like the crewman was set up by a co-worker, but that's no help. Gotta know better than smacking a star on the butt on their show.

Sounds like someone got him good. Hope they're proud of themselve.

Either way, is guy was super dumb.

  12. Sorry. Apparently I can't talk/write but I think you can get what I meant.

  13. See, *this* is why some performers insist on absolutely no contact, even casual glances or conversation, w/crew and set visitors. It's an extreme approach, but some people just don't have boundaries and lose their damn minds.

  14. Good for her. Celebrity or not, no man should be doing that to any woman...at work or anywhere.

  15. now TMZ is saying this guy has a history of this and that Minka didn't slap him or demand his firing.

Good for them for giving him the boot

  16. This is gonna totally date me....but these 'fashions' these days look EXACTLY like every dress I wore to a high school dance in 10th freaking grade.

I suppose everything old really IS new again...

  17. Selena - don't forget the big hair though to go with the shoulder pads. And it really doesn't date you at all. I think most on this blog are around same age group.

  18. How old was this crew member? Who makes bets on doing stuff like that past middle school age?
