Apparently January Jones has a thing for the movie XxX which is really annoying to type. I can think of no other explanation as to why she would name her new child Xander. Oh, maybe she is a fan of Xander Berkeley. Maybe she is doing this to throw us off the scent of who the baby daddy is. She used the last name Jones, but I wonder what the birth certificate says. Father left blank? At some point it will come out. I would hope at some point, that the father will show up and want to see the baby. I stick with my first choice, but really do not need more cease and desist letters today.
or what if by chance as the kid gets older its a spitting image of the father? that could help. it happens.

ReplyDeleteWell, we *all* know what movie she was filming at the time of this kid's conception. Giving her kid a name that begins with the letter X isn't exactly going to distract the public. I don't think she's trying to throw us off the scent -- I almost think she's insinuating that she just really care what the public thinks.
I fully realize that I'm overanalyzing this situation. ;-)
I just wish she were attending the Emmys this year. Homegirl can BRING IT on the red carpet.

ReplyDeleteActually, children look more like their biological fathers the first 2 years of their lives. you just hide the lower part of their face, and compare the curve of the upper nose, eyes, eyebrows and forehead to the father's.

That being said, I think the father was waiting for the baby to be born for a paternity test. Let's see who gets papped first walking happily with his official significant other showing that he has no care in the world, my bet, it'll be him.
Maybe Xander Baldwin was the sperm donor?

@Bnl -- Vaughn issued some statement denying paternity, but January NEVER supported, agreed, or clarified those details. Her silence spoke volumes to me.
ReplyDeleteVaughn's married to Claudia Schiffer. If he cheated on her with January, he *certainly* has a type. Ditto Bobby Flay. It's actually pretty weird -- if Claudia, January, and Stephanie were standing next to each other, they could probably pass for sisters.

ReplyDelete@Ida - Oh i know. Totally agree. I'm not saying its NOT him, but i heard the Michael Fassbender/Zoe Kraviz/January triangle as well which would be just as plausible so I'm not entirely sold on any of them yet. My mind is open as far as this one goes.

Also when I read Xander I thought of BTVS first.
I'm leaning toward McAvoy, although I can't see those two together. Xander the name is Scottish as is McAvoy, who played a man named Xavier in X-Men. But for all we know, the father is the key grip or the worked on the second-unit crew.
ReplyDeleteI personally LOVE the name Xander. And have since Buffy...and I like the whole Xander Dane thing as well. That said - ugh - i just can't stand January Jones and really think she should just be a mom and stop acting all together.

ReplyDeleteXander is not that unusual as a name - it's my middle son's middle name, and I know at least two people who have kids named Xander (and that's their real, legal name - it's not short for Alexander). And yes, we named him after Xander on Buffy. If we'd had a girl, she most likely would have been Anya. :-)
