Jacqueline Laurita Quits Real Housewives

One of the original New Jersey Real Housewives, Jacqueline Laurita quit the show. I think she could see the writing on the wall since producers were looking to replace cast members on the show much like they did in New York and Jacqueline went out her way. She also became the first person to skip out on a reunion show. That is a big no no in Bravo land. She claims she was sick, but later admitted she is just sick of the show and that it is not real and the show is trashy and not something she stands for. Well, she stood for it for three years and was happy to cash the checks. I was kind of hoping the show would get rid of Teresa Guidice but I don't know if that will happen. I did see her husband is cheating on her again so maybe that will make the story line more interesting.

  1. Oooh. Juicy. Didn't she meet her husband while she was a hooker in Vegas?

  2. I'm a couple episodes in, but I have to say that this is a pretty boring season thus far. The only reason I keep watching it is for Kathy and her husband Rich, who I think is hilarious and reminds me of someone I know. I hope they get rid of Melissa because I don't know how much longer I can look at her hard tennis ball breasts that are always hanging out.

  3. Oh, hey, Sue Ellen - this is dead Mngddess from the grave. How ya doin?

I think the reason Jackie quit may be that it's embarrassing for her to watch how poorly her daughter behaves.....

  4. You should concentrate more on raising your children than being a jerk to me on a gossip website. What are you? 40? Hope I'm not like you at that age. How dreadful.

  5. The cast would be unidentifiable if Teresa Giudice wasn't there with her too-low hairline.

  6. Jacqueline became painful to watch - her face has seriously morphed into the Joker. Her daughter is useless and I think it's a huge embarrassment for her. I think Jackqueline had fun for a few seasons but doesnt need the money with her husband running a business and having his con-man side scams going on, like the rest of the Laurita clan. Jackqueline hasn't worked since she was a hooker in Vegas, it's tough work getting up so early every day and being afraid to appear without 8-layers of makeup on. I think she's just a lazy slob (which is why Ashley is the way she is) and she just didn't want to work anymore.

  7. Sue Ellen:
you mean to tell me you didnt like that birthday song Milania (or whatever that kids name is) sang?
"first you were one...then you where two...then you were three!"
    f-ing trashtastic!!!

I don't think I've seen it yet! I just saw the Thanksgiving episode, so either I haven't seen it yet, or I missed it!

  9. you didnt miss it...it is at the pizza birthday party where Teresa has to down-grade by using paper plates for the party.
    oh the humanity!

  10. Nope Sue Ellen you haven't missed it yet. It's still to come (you still have several other holiday episodes to get through too). The song was painful and I luckily had recorded it so I could fast-forward it.

I want Joe and Melissa to go away. I've had enough of the sex talk and when he sniffed her bathing suit bottoms I actually threw up in my mouth.

  11. Caroline, her family, and her over-inflated "Godmother" persona are getting too overbearing to deal with. What a cool mom!
Theresa's getting hateful and paranoid (segueing into Danielle Staub territory) and is a boring drag to watch. Juicy Joe is a Joke.
I call Ashley "Lump." Aw, poor Lump! However, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I guess (see Princess.)
Melissa and Joe were kind of fun, but her extraordinarily vigorous self-image borders on the delusional at times. Gee, I wonder what their sex life is like?
Kathy and Rich? Their relationship seems to be the most stable--at least their kids turned out better than others (if the show can be believed.)
@delilah: I enjoyed it as well, but if that was a "song," I'm George Clooney! ;)

  12. @delilah - I hated making fun of a kid, but I died laughing at that song that everyone oohed/aahed over. :-/ She's gonna be a STAR!!

I don't mind Jacqueline, but her daughter is AWFUL. They need to cut her off & stop trying to buy her love.

I kind of enjoyed Melissa/Joe. The $50k Christmas party? The singing career? Mispronunciation of common words? Constant shout outs to baby Jesus + signs of the cross while always showing at least 50% of her ta-tas? What's not to love?

I also enjoyed all the digs Teresa gave about Melissa's looks. I think Melissa is gorgeous, meanwhile, Crouching Forehead, Hidden Hairline has just gotten nastier this season.

  13. LOVE that others laughed (with the heaviest cringing/embarrassment) during the song!!
we have a running joke at our house now...my neighbor wants me to sing the song at her next birthday-she's turning 30!
...then you were 26, then you were 27, then you were 28...
    LOL!

  15. @delilah - That is hilarious! It's very catchy. Like all Real Housewives songs. ;)

  16. Now I am dying to hear this song. Tell me though, is it as good as Tardy for the Party?

  17. Can anything ever be as good as Trady fo' the Party?

I'm still laughing at the tennis ball comment about Melissa's gorgas.

I'm hating this season because while I used to be able to sit and watch Joe Guidice and have horrific sex fantasies of what a beast he is, I am actually finding his repulsive personality getting in the way of my enjoyment.

Thank God for Joe Gorga, though. He's -- he's a somewhat sexualized entity.

  18. @Barton

Joe Gorga?! REALLY?! You don't think he slightly resembles a primate with that sloping brow?

Sorry I am tardy for this comment party.

  19. Barton Fink - I like Luann's song the best.

I am completely grossed out by Juicy!

Did anyone watch tonight's episode? They don't know who the Vice President of the US is???? WTF???
