Fun With Celebrity E-Mail Addresses
So, today I thought I would try something that hearkens back to the old days of the site. I actually never thought I would use hearkens in a sentence so I am pretty happy I managed to. Do you think people who buy word of the day calendars really memorize all 365 of them? Anyway, as I approach 15,000 posts, I wanted to go back and do something I used to enjoy doing, but with a twist. Back in the day I would have actors or actresses write and have people guess who they were. This time I thought I would make it a little more interesting and to see if a random celebrity will write back and play along.
Just to let you know, I have not worked this out in advance with any celebrity with whom I am doing this. If they don't respond, then, I will move on to the next. I have picked random celebrities who you will all know, but are not A list, except in my book for playing Fun With Celebrity E-Mail Addresses.
The way this works is I will e-mail and provide clues in the e-mail and they will write back. It continues until someone guesses the person correctly. I have a feeling I gave way too many clues in this first one and should have just kept it to music and languages.
Dear __________,
I am writing you today so my readers can play a blind item guessing game to see if they can guess who I am e-mailing simply by my questions and random comments and your answers or equally random comments. They are some really fantastic readers so this will probably only take them one back and forth to get it. I probably should make this harder, but, I am softy. A big softy. 400 pounds of softness.
What I am most curious about is how you learn so many languages. I understand if you have a parent who speaks one then you will speak that one too, but to speak as many as you do is quite a feat. Do you use them all? Are you really fluent in that many?
Did you spend your entire childhood learning musical instruments? Is it because of the winters? Can you still play them all?
Did Charlie Sheen hit on you?
Which do you prefer acting in, television or movies?
Can't wait to hear from you.
Enty
Nadja Bjorlin speaks several languages and is stunning enough that Charlie Shee would hit on her
ReplyDeleteSorry spelled her name wrong it is Nadia Bjorlin
ReplyDeletewhat's she been in? like how would I know her? (not disputing, just trying to place a face with her name)
ReplyDeleteLike your guess Montana. I remember him from when I used watch Days of our Lives. She's from a family like the Von Trapps in Sound of Music.
ReplyDeleteMeant to say "I remember HER"
ReplyDeleteShe was in two and a half men which refers to the Charlie Sheen reference.
ReplyDeleteShe is was on Days or our lives.
She speaks Swedish, Farsi, Azerbaijani, French, Italian, and Russian.
Plays the flute, harp, guitar, and piano.
I love love love when Enty does stuff like this but I never know who the people are, lol. I still have no clue who she is. So many chicks have gone through 2.5 men its hard to remember them all. But it sounds like this is her.
ReplyDeleteShe is actually quite stunning and was rumored to play Wonder Woman when they talked about making the movie version. Had no idea Enty knew her but I do recall him mentioning some sort of friendship when he posted her picture in Random Photos once.
ReplyDeleteThis is her IMDB page:

Montana FTW. Awesome job.
ReplyDeleteI remember when she first started on Days thinking she was just STUNNING.
enty, this is an AWESOME idea!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the Nadia Bjorlin guess - she speaks several languages and her father is a conductor and composer so it would make sense for her to learn classical instruments from an early age. Also, she spent the first 7 years of her life in Sweden = cold winters (well, cold according to people who have never experienced winter in the Canadian prairies *L*).

ReplyDeleteBut...but...I've never heard of Nadia Bjorlin! I have a feeling I'm not going to like this game ;P
ReplyDeleteI am with you Rocket Queen...Who is that?
ReplyDeletewell, clearly this has been solved, since there have been no further posts. Excellent job, Montana!
ReplyDelete@Maja: Which are worse, Swedish or Canadian winters?
ReplyDeleteCANADIAN. All the way. I thought I knew cold, and then I moved to Alberta. Then again, when I meet people from Saskatchewan, they tell me Albertan winters are "NOTHING"! *L*
ReplyDeleteMost of Sweden actually has fairly mild weather overall.
I didn't know who she was either but thanks for making me aware of her.
ReplyDeleteChloe!! I stopped watching Days a long time ago (damn kids took over my TV), but I always thought she was extraordinarily beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnd who was her boyfriend on the show? He was gorgeous ... blond, cut, kind of a bad boy ... mmm I loved him ... can't remember his name. Turns out he was dating (or married to) in real life that hag who played Nicole.
Sorry, tangent.
Chopchop: It was Kyle Lowder who played Brady (I'm a former Days addict).
ReplyDeleteFYI--Nadia will be on the new E! Reality show (that amazingly doesn't have any Kardashians involved) called "Dirty Soap" It has a bunch of Days/former Days actors like Kirsten Storms (Belle, now on GH), Galen Gering (Rafe/Luis from Passions), Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Farah Fath (Mimi/now on OLTL), Farah's b/f Jon-Paul Lavoisier (OLTL) and Kelly Monaco (GH).
i know her from days but never knew her name
ReplyDeletei know her from days but never knew her name
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game! I am excited
ReplyDeleteWait, I thought she was in a coma? How can she respond to your email? ;) (Still bummed that she's leaving Days just as it's getting interesting again.)
ReplyDeleteYes Tater!!! Just Googled him ... droooooooooool.
ReplyDeleteHugh Laurie?
