Greed got the best of Oksana Grigorieva. She was not satisfied with the $15M she was supposed to get in a settlement with him so ripped it up and went for more and ended up with $750K. After legal bills, she will probably end up with $300K tops which she will probably blow through by the end of next year. How does anyone think they are going to get more than $15M? Just because the guy threatened your life does not mean you are going to get more money. Instead of living comfortable the rest of her life, apparently she wanted to live like a billionaire or something. This has to rank up there with one of the worst decisions ever made.
So stupid...I can't even feel sorry for her.

ReplyDeleteI read it was divided up thusly: $250,000 on 8/21/11, $250,000 on 9/15/13, and $250,000 on 1/1/16. Mel repairs the home as needed and, when Lucia turns 18, the house is sold and the funds deposited into a trust for her.

ReplyDelete@Layna - I forget where I read it, but apparently it had already been settled that Mel does in fact pay child support for Lucia. He pays the same amount for Lucia that he pays to Robin for their (remaining) minor son.
