I am so cranky about this. My husband was a freight train driver for over 20 years, he has now moved into track maintenance. One of our greatest fears was if someone did something stupid and got killed. The people doing this do not care about the train driver, the other passengers, or the emergency service personnel that would be traumatised seeing their injuries or death. One of my husband's colleagues left his job after the 3rd person committed suicide by throwing themselves in front of his train. I realise suicide is different to these stunts, but the resulting trauma to those who have to deal with the outcome is still the same.
I'm going to say that probably wasn't his first time doing that.

You make a good point, feraltart. In watching this video, it's easy to be distracted by the stunt and forget there are indeed other people involved.
