Dr. Phil Offers Most Money - Gets The Anthony Parents

On the season premiere of Dr. Phil which is set to air on September 12, he has managed to land the parents of Casey Anthony. Considering they had previously stated they would not appear anywhere for less than a $1M, I guess Dr. Phil made Oprah dig through her couch for loose change and she found a million or two in the cushions. You know, because she is Oprah. At this point I am surprised she cannot just clap her hands and people bring her money on serving trays covered in gold with a big O on them.

Dr. Phil says he is going to be hard hitting with the parents of Casey Anthony. Hard hitting would be to have Nancy Grace come in and take a turn with them for 20 minutes. To Dr. Phil, hard hitting is rattling off a series of folksy expressions and hoping they somehow combine into a coherent sentence.

"When you take a mouse by the ears, it only makes them wish they were leading a horse to water but hoping to make him drink, while my son screws Hef's old girlfriend."

  1. Sad subject, but very funny Oprah & Dr. Phil stuff, Enty.

  2. They don't have the guts to talk to Nancy Grace, even though she has always expressed sympathy for them while being confused about some of their actions.

They went to Phil because he has 8 million commericals during the show and really will only have to answer questions for about 12 minutes and they needed the biggest payday to get Casey back into their lives with the thing she needs most to party with-MONEY

  4. If they ever make a movie about this case -- which, duuuuuuuh, they totally will -- Mr. and Mrs. Anthony need to be portrayed by Paul Sorvino and Gordon Ramsey, respectively.

  5. I never watch this guy. Anyone know who his sponsers are so I can write them and complain?

  6. @Lauren -- Thanks! :-) I just call it like I see it...

  7. Per another site, whatever the fee is is going to the Caylee Anthony Foundation and not to them. Just to set the record straight.

  8. @bluebonnet - who controls that money and gets executive salary?

  9. I'm going to guess that the asanine softball question asking, famous person ass kicker that he is is exactly the reason they are doing him and not a real news show. Tough on them? The only people that quack is tough on are the vulnerable, in need of real help people that are desperate enough to be on his fake shrink show. Thanks again Texas for yet another masterpiece of human waste.

  11. I wish I watched Dr. Phil just so I could stop watching him in protest. I will never be a party to anything these people are engaged in. At least Casey isn't going to be on, right?

  16. what skeeball said. Nancy Grace always kind of felt sorry for the parents...but I've been pissed off at them since the mother lied for Casey about those searches on the home computer.
I actually think Dr. Phil is pretty good at calling people on their shit...that being said, I won't watch this. I want this family to fade into obscurity.

  18. Actually Oprah doesn't have to open the purse strings for Dr. Phil. He's made enough to have his own production company at this point.

CalifBlondie is my favorite poster here. She speaks the truth in

  22. In 2009 they took 80% for administrative purposes. I don't know how much that was or how much they actually raised. I couldn't find anything for 2010. I don't know why I am surprised but it's still disappointing.

  23. @Ida B: May I suggest Robert Blake and Gordon Ramsey?

  24. Cecilia00 and Rose -- Word. I'd be really suspicious of any charity or organization set up by the Anthonys. All of them are out for money. Cindy's even said that Lee should be hired by such an organization because of all of the good work he did while they were looking for Caylee.

  25. Thank you Rose! File IRS form 13909, Tax Exempt Organization Complaint form found on the IRS web site for their Fraudation. They take 80% for their salary. These people are liars and covered up the killing of their grandollar. I just don't see how they can even go out in public.
