Casey Anthony Judge Must Be Trying To Get Re-Elected
Lost in all the shuffle of the Casey Anthony acquittal was her conviction last year for check fraud. At the time she was sentenced to one year of supervised probation. She then spent the next year in jail which is about as supervised as you can get. However, the judge in the case, who is probably up for re-election and wants to look tough on crime and use the Anthony name to move up in the polls said what he meant was that Casey needed to serve a year of supervised probation after she got out of jail. Uh huh. So, he could predict that she was going to be acquitted and get out of jail? I am all for making her life miserable, but is this judge seriously trying to say that if Casey Anthony had been sentenced to 50 years in jail that when she got out he was going to give her a year of probation for the check fraud charge at that time? This is just a judge who wants some face time and media attention.
interesting, if something happens to her while she is there (not that I would shed tears, mind you) than that judge just opened up a whole can of worms for her family to sue the crap out of Florida.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they'd have a case - she has to serve probation - I don't think there's any law that says she can't be in hiding while she does that as long as her probation officer approves. Just stick her in some shitty apartment and have her parents or "friends" do her grocery shopping.
ReplyDeleteHey, if he wants her to be supervised, I'm okay with that.
ReplyDeleteCan't the probation officer come to wherever she is hiding out?
ReplyDelete@susanb she has to provide the court with her permanent address which is then made public to anyone who wants it. Hopefully her lawyers will be able to have an exception made for her safety, and her potential neighbors privacy. So while she could stay inside/ in hiding, everyone would know were she is
ReplyDelete^atlchica...that would prob be at the cost of taxpayers, i would think...eep...and hasn't she taken the system for enough of a ride as is? i'm all for making her put in some of the work now. she needs to be held accountable to at least one thing. if her old/new face is made public, too bad, so sad, i say.
ReplyDelete@dianero: she has to provide the court with her address but I don't think it's a matter of public record in Florida. My husband is a PI who also serves process - he's talked to probation officers before but had to give a good reason to get the subject's address. If you know where we can find this records in Florida as a public search I'd love to have the site!
ReplyDeleteI think she should be supervised to make sure she doesn't get pregnant again :O

ReplyDelete@rickatoo - thanks, we use this site but it doens't usually have people on probation - especially if it's not a state offense but a local one - say a drug offense in Palm Beach County where time is served in the local jail - they don't show up - we have to do a paid criminal search. My husband says the probation officers do not have to give him the address although they almost always do (it helps to be a licensed PI and certified process server).
ReplyDeleteI am all for making this murderous bitch's life a living hell. And you know there is a whack job out there looking to take her out. This could get interesting.
ReplyDeleteIf she had a brain in her head, she would have a wig of her old hair style to throw on if she has to go in front of any paps. Why out your new do if you don't have to?
ReplyDeleteThis is just the first of many times the public is going to fuck with this chick. She might as well get used to it. This is your bed, get comfy.
I heard on the news that there's also an issue whether or not a probation officer had been assigned. If it means getting her out of CA (if she's really hiding in Coachella), then by all means, buh-bye kid killer.
ReplyDeleteSpending three years in solitary confinement for a crime she didn't commit is now taking the system for a ride now? Being tried by media? She was found not guilty. Save your hate for real killers. But then, they are almost exclusively men and you are too chicken to hate *them*.
ReplyDelete^^ Dumbest comment ever.
ReplyDeleteClassic Tatyana comment, Mother Campfire, just ignore :)
ReplyDeleteCalifblondy, you think she is hiding in Coachella?
ReplyDeleteI am quite frankly surprised she has managed to stay under the radar so long. I would have though that someone would have spotted her by now. No friends left (as far as the media knows at least) and no money, how is she hiding?
