BuzzFoto Blind Item

Today we’re talking about a comedian on an East Coast cable show. He makes a lot of good money and a lot of good jokes but what he hasn’t been making lately, is a lot of good decisions. Apparently he recently trashed the set of his show after going on a three-day drug binge. The network is now considering getting rid of him

  1. Again: IF THIS WERE TRUE, why wouldn't it already be ALL OVER the media? Chris Brown broke a window on The Today Show, and *that* story hit the web instantly.

Guess away, folks. I'll say Lorne Michaels, because WHY NOT? I may as well throw Willy Wonka out as a possible guess, too, since he's equally plausible.

  2. It can't be Louis C.K.

  3. Louis CK is the only one that came to mind but in interviews I've seen recently of him, he just seems super grateful he has a show and it's doing well, so I don't see it being him.

  4. Uh oh, Colbert on a crack binge....

If you read "his show" as "the show on which he works" instead of "the show he hosts" the maybe one of the yakkers for The Daily Show lost his shit.

  5. Stephen Colbert, the Colbert Report on Comedy Central.

  6. Danny McBride from Eastbound and Down? (not sure where that's set, sorry)

  7. Bill O'Reilly (drunk and urging the set to let him scrub it with "falafel")!

  8. If you ever saw Bill O'Reilly's "Fuck it! We'll do it live! Fuck it! Fucking thing sucks!" meltdown, he's probably capable of doing something like this.

  9. And I consider him a comedian (in a certain sense) which backs up my guess--his show's one of the funniest programs on TV!

  10. but the blind says 'comedian' not comic actor. So that lets out all the actor onlies, like Danny Devito. Dennis Leary, I can see. He's kind of an angry guy.

  11. Sounds like this could be Tracy Morgan. Comedian - Check. TV Show set on East Coast (30 Rock)- Check. Good money and good jokes - Double Check. History of drug use and recent erratic behavior - I think we may have a winner.

  12. It says East Coast CABLE show - 30 Rock is on NBC, so it's not Tracy Morgan.

  13. if it were 30Rock would it not have said network comedy rather than cable comedy?

  14. How about the actor/comedian from the HBO show bored to death?

  15. Hand's down - this is Bill Maher.

  16. I'm about 99.9 percent certain Bill Maher shoots his show in Los Angeles.

  17. I like the Bill Maher guess, but his show is taped in L.A.

  18. Denis Leary's character, on TV and stage, is angry. Denis is not.

  19. In re: Denis Leary: And "Rescue Me" is wrapped. Forever. The final ep airs 9/13 (as close as he could get it to the tenth anniversary of 9/11). The show wrapped several months ago.

  20. Ick; I hate to suggest this, but howzabout Ray Romano on "Men of a Certain Age"? It's a cable show and he's a New York comedian. What about Larry David or Jeff Garfield ("Curb Your Enthusiasm")? They're New Yorkers. Jeremy Piven ("Entourage")? Or has that shot its finale, too? Is he a New Yorker, or does he just feel like one because he's here all the time?

    That's all I got.

  21. George Lopez just had his last show...he's known to have a bad temper. Where was his show shot?
