BuzzFoto Blind Item
This elderly actor who was once A list in his day in film, allegedly loves animals so much he keeps a whole variety of different species in his home. His home is said to smell awful and have evidence of animals everywhere. He even loves his pets so much, it’s said he allows his pet ferret, several dogs, and sometimes even rodents to sleep in his bed at night.
I had a rodent in my bed till I divorced him.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
ReplyDeleteGene Hackman?
The Birthday Boy (Roberts Redford)?
ReplyDeleteWhen someone reaches a point where basic sanitation becomes an issue they've deviated from lover to hoarder.
ReplyDeleteOooookay. I'm beginning to think that Buzzfoto is currently hiring writers from The Onion to devise these things.
ReplyDeleteI HOPE this isn't true, though -- "a whole variety of different species" wouldn't exactly dig living inside a house, no matter how palatial it is.
Kirk Douglas? Maybe he does it to keep CJZ away! :-D
ReplyDeleteCZJ (oops!)

Oh joy! Laughter! That was soooo funny, I am thanking you!
Al Pacino? Or will he forever be A list? Have you seen the crap he wears? He just looks like he smells like rodents...
ReplyDeleteMickey Rooney.
ReplyDeleteNot a clue, but that does not sound too healthy. I love my dog dearly, but not in my bed.
ReplyDelete@Ms Cool: That's a good guess, and it's gonna be someone like this. He brings to mind elderly. Hackman, Pacino, or Peter Fonda (someone said on Gawker) are senior citizens, but I wouldn't call them elderly. Kirk Douglas is elderly too, but A. I think we'd have heard about this more mainstream, and B. KD is prob permanent A list.
ReplyDeleteSigh - rats (I"m guessing these are the 'rodents'?) get a bad rap. I know several people with pet ratties and they are adorable as hell. They love taking baths and eat like little chipmunks. If I didn't have three cats I would definitely consider getting myself a couple ;)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I rescused animals for years at times we had 11 dogs, 5 cats and a racoon living in our house. We never had a problem with smell because we kept it clean. We also had a license from the state to rescue wild animals. I have always had a dog in my bed. I had a 180 lb. Mastiff I rescued till he died of cancer in my daughter's lap. I rescued another dog that had been shot by her owner. She lived to be 13 and was loved by her new owner. You can learn more about real love from animals especially how good people are that truly love them.
ReplyDeleteDick Van Patten? He loves pets so much that he has a line of pet food...maybe his love has gone too far?
ReplyDeleteoh wait...it says film. DVP did mostly TV
ReplyDeleteExcept for the hygiene issues, I don't think there's anything wrong with this situation. Except for when I was away at college in a dorm, my pets have always slept with me. I've got two cats who sleep with me regularly, along with the chiweenie and pom. My family's pets have always been allowed to sleep wherever they want, and I've never thought twice about it. As long as he's taking care of the animals, who cares?
ReplyDeleteOh, and as for rats, I always thought it was gross to have rats as pets. But then when I was at the shelter adopting my cats, they had several rats in a big cage right where people filled out the paperwork. They were actually pretty cute and affectionate. Now I don't think it's any weirder to have rats than it is to have hamsters or guinea pigs -- which are also rodents! Snakes and spiders, though, I don't get.
ReplyDeleteMy brother had a ferret when he was a kid. That animal was a piece of work. You can bet your ass there were never any mice around!
I have 3 dogs (2 big and 1 little) and a cat. They all sleep on the bed if they want. Right now it is comforting to me to have them all up there with me at night (husband issues). I change my sheets often, my pets are bathed, and I see no issues.
ReplyDeleteI see no issue with sleeping with a dog or cat in the bed. Provided sanitation is basic and paid attention to.
ReplyDeleteBut I see another issue: This person could role over and land on a rat or ferret and cause damage or death to it. Not good.
I loved having my cat sleep with me when it was cold. She'd snuggle up against my stomach, lower back, or behind my knees. I miss my baby!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe had rats as pets years ago. I would go to their cage to give them a treat before bed and one or both would be missing. I would pull back the covers of my sons bed and there they would be all curled up with him. The only problem I had with it was that they left lots of presents.
ReplyDeleteMy two poms sleep on my bed every night and I wouldn't have it any other way.
ReplyDeletei had several cats and they slept with us : i never had troubles with that
ReplyDeleteI love when the cats or the pooch sleep on the bed. I'd be a bit worried about smashing a ferret or a rodent, though.

Love it!
My cats sleep with me (or on me as the mood takes them) but I would have to draw the line at ferrets and rodents.

ReplyDeleteMy mean old husband won't let the dogs sleep in the bed with us, so that only happens when he's out of town. My cat (who is like the Honey Badger-->does not give a F) sleeps by me every night.
ReplyDeleteThis blind (if it's even true) makes me sad for both the old guy & the animals...if the house is unsanitary. I hope someone can step in and help.
Lelaina, thanks for the reminder - it's time for me to watch the honey badger video again. Cracks my shit up every single time.
ReplyDeleteBrendlove with the post of the day! *Applauds and cheers*
ReplyDeleteRobert Wagner FTW. Major animal lover. I used to work in a large animal hospital in LA and he would have his daughters bring in pets from time to time. They were always talking about the strays he picked up.
ReplyDeleteBob Barker
ReplyDeleteI've slept with men and I've slept with dogs. Dogs win.
ReplyDeleteOh Honeybadger...I must go rewatch too!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, maybe the rodent is a capybara. They are ginormous rainforest animals that somehow ended up in different areas of the US, one recently at a water treatment plant! Id be SO excited if I found a capybara. Id wash him down with all kinds of disinfectants, brush his teeth and then let him stay until he ate his own shit, which they all do. I dont really think this dude sleeps with a capybara, but you never know, he could have thought it was a gerbil when it was young. Thanks. I just wanted to give a shoutout to our Costa Rican stowaways. Who loves ya, baby?!
ReplyDeleteThey also chirp when they walk! They chirp. Wait, we were talking about Dr Dolittle weren't we? Sorry.
