Taylor Armstrong Says She Was Abused
In the new issue of Kneepads, Taylor Armstrong says she was physically and verbally abused by her soon to be ex. She says that Russell Armstrong would call her names, shoved her, pulled her hair, grabbed her and threw things at her. When Kneepads contacted Russell, the only thing he denied was the hair pulling. He blames the show. I blame him. He says the show pushed them to the limit. Then do not do the show. No excuse. I don't think Taylor is the greatest person in the world, but Russell always seems like a d**k and this proves it. I think Taylor did the right thing in leaving. It is kind of strange that she is all into this anti violence thing but threatened people with violence last year while at the same time she was apparently being subjected to violence. Hopefully their daughter did not see any of it.
She's a dick too. They're perfect for one and other.
ReplyDeleteI think when people lash out at you, you can learn to lash out at people. Not that it excuses her behavior. She seems like an attention whore. I don't like either of them. I guess it's good he didn't deny it, they have a daughter and it's easier for her to protected and he needs to get help.
ReplyDeleteI just can not stand even looking at her.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say this out loud, but I just don't believe her.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe anything that comes out of this snake's mouth. I really wish the show had sacked her; she's venomous.
ReplyDeleteIf he says he has done it why is it hard to believe?
ReplyDeletemy husband got increasingly verbally abusive toward the end of our marriage. then, right at the end he becaume physically abusive. my attorney said that it was pretty common at the end of a marriage, when its obvious that its the end and tensions are high. when i got my restraining order, after he tried to kill me in front of our children, the judge looked me right in the eye and said, "im going to sign this, but these things happen". pissed me off, but i guess probably true when people are uoset. i never responded in-kind, either verbally or physically, so to me it seems like you can restrain yourself if you try.
ReplyDeleteMy ex-husband when our marriage was imploding due to his affair got really angry with me one night. I kind of had the sixth sense to hide the .44 Mag he kept in the closet. Sure enough, he went into the bedroom and I was sure he was looking for that gun. I just looked at him and told him he was a dumbass if he thought I would have left a gun where he could get it. He left and I had the locks changed and never looked back. Divorce was 11 years ago and I feel like I escaped with my life and my children's.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but can't see it. This guy doesn't come across as someone who even cares enough to get that upset. He always looks like he'd rather be reading a book.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, we are going down the how they look path??? Ted Bundy was attractive and had a girlfriend while he was out being a psychotic, raping, necrophiliac serial killer.
ReplyDeleteMe and Blubonnetmom, thank goodness you both got out. Congratulations on going forward with your lives. Me, your judge was a dick.
Was Taylor the one in the Witch Mountain movie(s)?
ReplyDeleteI guess he went "all Oklahoma" on her ass, huh?
ReplyDeleteLike Wihities I call BS, if she is so anti-domestic abuse, then she would have done something sooner.
ReplyDeleteJeri - Kim was the Witch Mountain one.

ReplyDeleteITA feraltart-
ReplyDeleteHe definitly had the look of restrained anger inside him. In retrospect maybe her even spending the kind of money she would on her child's bday party or continuing to get all that horrid face work done was symptomatic of trying to literally blanket the situation that was out of hand for her.
She may be a bad case of plastic surgery gone wrong, she may be a bitch at times, she might even have a marie-antionette like trait to be overly extravagant... none of that entitles her to any sort of abuse.
Hey Taylor! There's a wide mouth bass missing its lips... give 'em back!
ReplyDeleteBut seriously folks, Taylor (or whatever her real name is) seems like a big ol' grasping phoney and Russell reminds me of the sort of quiet milquetoast sort of office worker who goes unnoticed by his colleagues until his landlord goes in to his apartment to check a leak and finds the place is filled with furniture made from human bones.
@bluebonnetmom - SHIT, that is a scary story. Glad you are safe now!
ReplyDelete@Jeri - No that was Kim (and Kyle?)
I'm sure this will all be discussed in great detail next season. It's really becoming the norm to get divorced on this show.
Enty - I can't believe you haven't really covered the NYC ladies. Even w/out Bethenney, this season has been good. NJ still has the best sound bites though.
