Random Photos Part Two

Only one more week. I'm sad now. I don't want it to end.
Normally I would have put Jennifer Aniston on top. This honor is more rare than anything else in Hollywood. Her movies don't do well, but she still deserves this. Congratulations.
Justin was there and she even got him to shave.
Ali Larter and her baby doing some grocery shopping.
Brooke Shields makes her debut on Broadway in Addams Family.
I still don't understand. Help me. You have two women who are lesbians. They only like women. One becomes a man with a peen and then the other woman suddenly decides she is not a lesbian and likes men? Doesn't that go in the face of every argument that homosexuality is not a choice? Or does love simply conquer all?

You do realize that having these babies does mean Dean actually did have sex with Tori Spelling.
A Six year old cancer patient got her wish and got to meet Kate. Love it!

  1. That little girl is ADORABLE and I am so happy she got her wish to meet Kate. She looks extremely happy, as does Kate. I love it!

  2. Enty, I've been confused about that as well. I get the homosexual love, but this I do not get.

  3. The princess & child pictures made me cry. Puts it all in perspective...

  4. Chaz hasn't had the "bottom operation" as he called it. I'm not saying I get it, but I this type of thing is pretty common. There were two men who became women at my work, and after they both had their operations, they became a couple!

  5. Chaz DOES NOT have a peen. Shim still has a vajajay for some reason. In the male/female box, he still has a box. Partner is more money hungry that carpet hungry, I do believe.

  6. Seeing those pictures of that little girl almost made me cry. I donated 13 inches of hair to Locks of Love yesterday. It makes me feel really good about it.

  7. I saw Chas Bono on Letterman, and from what I remember, Chas stated that he doesn't have a penis. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I also love, love, love the pictures of the princess and the little girl. The little girl looks so happy. It must be overwhelming to Kate to go from being a normal person to being someone's make-a-wish.

  8. Not gonna tear up over that 6 year old little girl - not gonna tear up over that 6 year old little girl - not gonna - Aw, damnit. I did.

I know how you feel Enty. I didn't want Six Feet Under to end years ago. I still miss it. I honestly should do something about getting over that sometime.

Justin doesn't look like Daniel Plainview any more.

Courteney Cox wasn't at Jen's Hollywood star unveiling was she?

Well someone's gotta take the bullet for all mankind when it comes to sleeping with Tori. Might as well be him.

  9. Sometimes people really do just fall for a person regardless of their sex.

  10. I am totally crying now because of those pictures. Heartbreaking. I hate cancer.

@Lauren - good on you!! That was a fantastic thing you did. I hope others take your lead.

  11. That picture of Kate and the little girl made my heart melt. Love Kate, and that little girl is adorable.

Personally, I think it is irrelevant whether or not homosexuality is a choice. Consenting adults should be able to love other consenting adults regardless of sex. Saying that, if I were a lesbian, I think I'd be turned off if my gal turned into half of a guy. I saw a quick documentary on Chaz and his girlfriend and Chaz has sort of turned into a testosterone-laden jerk. I don't think he knew how to act with the new hormones and everything, so it'll probably take some time getting used to it.
The girlfriend was lamenting how sweet Chaz was before the change. Bottom line, Chaz was behaving like an abusive, misogynist jerk in the clip I saw. I suppose in the end, it could be the person you're attracted to, but many of us have specific types (tall, dark, feminine, etc, etc) that make a huge difference, too.

No Courtney wasn't there, nor was any of her other co-stars from Friends, but her BFF Chelsea Handler was there.

  13. My thoughts exactly Enty on HP, Megan, Jen, the lesbian question, and Kate and the little girl!

The little girl's Mother, Memory, also died of cancer when Diamond was 18 months old. She was named for Princess Diana. William and Kate have won me over forever over how wonderful they were to this little girl. Justin cleans up REALLY good. There are some better pictures of him today. Chaz has not had bottom surgery yet.

  15. Aw, I like Kate Middleton even more. I pray that the little girl goes into remission.

Brooke, Brooke - the boobs aren't looking good in that costume...

Ali Larter's baby reminds me of my Dan when he was that age. He is gorgeous!!

Jen's dress is so cute, and...demure...

And for God's sake, J.K. Rowling has more than enough moola to get a better dress than that. It almost looks like a Halloween costume.

  16. Lauren - me, too! In my case it was only 12 inches, though ;) Mailed it off yesterday. Yay short hair for the summer!

Theroux cleans up nice, though his arms look kind of weird in this pic.

I'm one of those who has never read Harry Potter, nor watched any of the movies. I'll be glad when all the hoopla is over, too ;)

  17. I disagree with you, Enty, re: Jennifer A and Grauman's Chinese Theatre... she is not deserving. She can be adorable, funny and charming and she is successful but she is not a classic. She is not a legend. She is not a huge movie star. I wonder how much was paid under the table to get that cement plot?!

  18. Here's the answer about Chaz and Girlfriend. Chaz has always A) been attracted to women and B) felt more like a man when it comes to identity, etc. The girlfriend was attracted to Chaz when she was still "identifying" as a woman. Their lesbian sexual attraction is still the same because that is what Chaz still is physically (at least the bottom half). They're emotional attraction pre-dates the "gender identity" change and so it could conceivably survive the Chastity to Chaz transition.

Obviously, not every couple is the same, but I think the reason Chaz and his girlfriend are still together is becuase their sexual activity is the same. If she chooses to stay through the hormonal changes, weight gain, tantrums, and other issues, that's her choice (or her desire for $$, whatever).

I love my husband dearly, but I'm not sure how long I could stay with him if he told me he wanted to live as a woman and go full operational. The parts are an important part of my attraction to the male of our species.

  19. Can't see the screen too well through the tears in my eyes after those pics of the Duchess and that little girl. Hope the little sweetie gets better...

Ali Larter's baby is adorable! I get mushy over babies with Fred Flintstone feet...

Wow - Can't believe how much the Harry Potter gang has changed over the years!

  20. I saw one of Chaz's interviews and FS explains it well. I'll only add that Chaz said his girlfriend identifies as bisexual, although like FS said, Chaz hasn't had surgery to create a penis.

I'd say the fact that they are still together says a lot of about his girlfriend's commitment to him. No matter the labels, none of that could be easy.

  21. Love Jennifer's dress. Do not like beardless Justin.

Wait, does Ali Larter have a dead beat husband??

The Kate pictures totall made me tear up. Beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  22. chaz's girlfriend is bisexual, so chaz def. lucked out there. chaz does not have a penis yet, but is considering it and the girlfriend is being supportive regardless.

even tho the girlfriend likes both men and women, i think love prevails above everything else. if the person you loved, loved you, but needed to live their life differently... how many of us can walk away? not as many as you might think.

and i love kate middleton. that picture melts my heart. the little girl is beautiful and congrats to her for getting her wish. makes that barefoot contessa bitch look even worse right now, doesn't it?

  23. Those pictures of Kate and the little girl are beautiful.

    Bless them both.

  24. Congrats Lauren & RocketQueen; what a wonderful thing to do.

Your Chaz question reminded of a friend's holiday dinner I was invited to. My friend's cousin was there with his wife (or girlfriend — not important really). During dinner, my friend mentioned to me that his cousin used to be a girl, and was in a lesbian relationship with this wife (or gf). He wasn't sure if he had had bottom surgery or not. But the cousin's elderly mother was there, and I couldn't help but wonder what the transition was like for her. They seemed very loving (mother/son), but I can only imagine that it wasn't an easy thing to deal with.

I echo everyone else's thoughts on Kate and the little girl. How precious.

Gender identity and sexual orientation are two separate states of being. Chaz was never a lesbian, he was a man in a woman's body. It just took lots of time and therapy to figure it out.

As for not having the female to male surgery, most FTMs don't because construction is very complicated and not always successful.

Enty - you should watch the documentary Becoming Chaz - it really brings understanding to the situation.

For the record, like most straight people, GLBT have the same questions about the other orientations. Being GLBT may give you more insight into the other sexual identities but not much.

  26. Oh gosh - just looked at a slideshow regarding little Diamond and the Duchess, including a copy of Diamond's letter. I've gone from teary-eyed to flat-out sobbing mess.

  27. "This honor is more rare than anything else in Hollywood."

LOL! Horseshit. ;-) Steve Huvane made a few calls to the right people, signed some checks and sent them off, Aniston bought herself an abundantly fugly dress, and they poured some concrete. The End.

Anyone who's walked along Hollywood and Vine knows that there are some reeeeaaaal has-beens who've stuck their feet in that sidewalk at some point. They aren't all silver screen legends, that's for damn sure.

Ali Larter is so gorgeous. She's like Heidi Klum, Beyonce, or Gisele to me -- they just don't seem to ever look BAD.

God, I just adore Kate Middleton. You can't fake emotion like that. And since I can't fake emotions either, this definitely made me tear up to the extent that I had to shut my door at work for a few minutes today.

@MadLyb -- "Personally, I think it is irrelevant whether or not homosexuality is a choice. Consenting adults should be able to love other consenting adults regardless of sex."

    Beautifully stated.

  29. Enty, I've heard that the way one gets a star on the Walk of Fame is just by paying an ungodly amount of money and being approved by some committee. Any idea?

  30. Chaz does not have a penis--many FTM do not, because quite frankly the surgery absolutely sucks. My understanding is that while the MTF operation is very good these days, the options for women becoming men are truly horrible.

  31. The little girl's letter to Kate is adorable- it's on dlisted.com and probably many other site as well.

After the meeting she said Prince William was "a little bit" handsome.

  32. I don't understand why people think it took the homewrecker Jennifer for Justin Theroux to shave for an event. I'm sure he has enough social grace to make the decision on his own. btw, his ex is very very pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Brooke definitely has her SAG card, and I'm not talking about the Screen Actor's Guild!
Jennifer Aniston getting a place in cement at Grauman's is like having Lindsay Lohan move into your neighborhood.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I wonder about the Chaz thing too. If you saw the two of them on Oprah, I think you could tell the relationship was not going well. Their body language towards each other was very cold. especially from the girlfriend. She never reached out to Chaz or held his hand during the tough parts of his interview. Chaz looked very beaten by the girlfriend. Not in a physical way, but in an emotional way.

I don't think Jennifer Aniston should be immortalized at Mann's Chinese Theatre. I can understand a star on the Boulevard of Shame though.

  35. Mnggddess, Brooke has stage makeup on her chest to accentuate/darken her cleavage for the play. She is actually in pretty good shape yet!

May God bless Princess Kate and may all the precious children that have cancer get to have one full day of feeling well.

    Bless you too, Lauren!

  36. The FTM surgery involves "growing" a penis on the person's hip, slicing it off the hip, and then the whole attachment process. Quite extensive and painful and inconvenient. At least according to my FTM friend who is legally male and has a vagina still.

Also, his wife (legally married) is a lesbian who was always attracted to very butch females.

    That's all I know.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I just read the Princess and Diamond post (along with Diamond's letter) and seem to have gotten something in my eye.

  40. it breaks my heart to see such a young girl who's suffering from cancer. This must be one of the happiest days of her life. I hope, she'll fight her sickness and will have a long life!

  41. Sharing the confusion with the rest of you regarding FTM stuff - I am bi, pro gay marriage and think that sexuality comes in all shapes and forms, but I just dont get this whole being born in the wrong sex stuff. To me, being female or male doesnt really make a difference. Nothing is different, except for the equipment. So why the need to change everything else? I don't judge, go ahead and do whatever you need to do, but I dont understand it.

  43. Didn't Brooke do Grease on Broadway? Pretty sure she did.

  44. Linnea think of your confusion as the same as a person being confused about why they feel like a female but have male parts. It's the same thing.

And sexuality is not black and white as many would like to think it is. One of my very dear friends boyfriend of many years was not born a boy. I don't know whether he had bottom surgery or not but I can definitely tell you my friend has no confusion about the fact that he is still a gay man regardless of his boyfriends birth gender.

And Enty I'm a bit surprised at you. Not that I think you're really as big as you claim to be, but hypothetically speaking if you were and were married multiple times, did that mean your wives were into morbidly obese men or perhaps they just loved you for who you were? Get it? While some may have "types" the core of a person isn't who they are physically which can always be altered be it with surgery or a life changing accident.

  45. I hope Kate sends something to that little girl. Wondering why she and her mother both had this type of cancer. The dad must be devastated.

  46. And bs on love being bigger than what sex you are. You can't see personality across the room. How many of you on here would stay with your partner if they had a sex change? How about partial sex change? This isn't "oh, I'm a Dodge fan now, not a Cubs fan". This is who you are on every level and changes your whole life.

Brooke did do Grease on Broadway. Don't remember when, precisely, but she played the character portrayed by Stockard Channing in the film version.

  48. I watched "Becoming Chaz" - I highly recommend it. They do interview the girlfriend quite a bit and it's not like this was an easy transition for her.
I can imagine, and to a certain extent understand the feeling of being in the wrong body - but I also believe that our bodies are nothing but the vessel we travel in, and I have certainly felt disconnected from mine at different times in my life. I don't think I am alone in that.

Didn't Brooke also do Chicago? I could be wrong though.

I've also never read or seen Harry Potter.

To get a star, you fill out a form and pay for it. You'll notice actors and actresses usually get one around the time they're promoting a movie.

  50. Brooke was gorgeous when she was young then in her twenties she had her perfect nose reduced which makes her face look big or wide or something. Have a look at her earlier pictures and her face is balanced. I wish she left it alone. I can't believe she can't see it!
