National Enquirer Blind Item

WHICH former “DWTS” finalist has a secret obsession with Walmart?

The weight-challenged performer doesn’t want to get caught shopping for clothes at the discount chain, so she drives to the 24-hour stores far away from Hollywood!

  1. They do have the best prices on black leggings.

  2. heh. I prefer to buy my black leggings at Target.

I'm guessing this is Kirstie Alley.

  3. Target does have better lounge wear than Wal-Mart, but doesn't Wal-Mart carry a larger selection of larger sizes? I know Kirstie says she's a 2 now, but she isn't. Kirstie in people of Wal-Mart?

  4. Were there any other weight-challenged finalists besides Kirstie?

  5. hmm...i think if it was briston the walmart contingency would've fawned and made a fuss. kisrtie tho, might have a better chance of being undercover...plus it wouldn't surprise me...while she was raising her kids at the toluca lake house w/ parker s., her career was in a slump and i'm certain she made the wallmart/target run frequently...neither are all that far.

  6. Or Niecey Nash. Or Wendy Williams.

Wendy is mostly based in NYC, and she seems like the type that wouldn't care if someone knew she was wearing a Walmart blouse. Plus, Wendy doesn't seem too wrapped up with her weight. She's a big girl and handles that well, best I can tell.

I think this is either Niecy or Kirstie. Marissa Janet Winkour is a possibility, but I don't know if the average Walmart shopper would recognize her.

  8. This can't be anyone but K-AL. This way she can buy her size (twenty)twos where no one can see her.

Wendy Williams would shout it to the rooftops on her show. Plus Wendy is east coast.

  9. Ever been in Torrid? Kirstie could be a 2. :)

  10. lol, Squirrels!
    So true. At Torrid I'm a 0 - and I love it ;-)

  11. Bristol just did a "book signing" *cough cough* at a Wall-Mart. Does that count?

  12. Bristol wouldn't be embarrassed to go to WalMart. Hell, she'd probably try to get a gig as spokesperson.

  13. I, too, have an obsession with Walmart. I can't help it...every time I try to get out, they pull me back in. With their unbeatable prices on black leggings and frozen berries for my smoothies.

  14. KIRSTIE ALLEY IS A 2?! I'm sorry. I am 5'0 and 110 (a T&A 110) and I AM a 2. It'd be a cold day in Hades before I'd believe Kirstie Alley is a 2. What is the shame in saying you're a 6 or 8? Shit.

  15. WoW! I cannot believe any of you would even admit to shopping at the vile store mentioned in the blind. Are you even remotely aware that you are supporting the communist and destroying small shopkeepers everywhere?

  16. There is no shame juicy, - I'd be shouting from the rooftops if I were that size! But I'm sorry, I don't believe for two seconds that Kirstie is even a 6 or an 8. I think at minimum she is a 12 or 14.

  17. Yeah,k I'm with you MacVixen I don't believe Kristie is a 6or 8 but then I don't believe she is even a 14 either...maaaaaybe a 16.
The woman is delusional, or thinks we are all stupid enough to believe her story.

  18. I agree, maybe a 16 at the smallest. I know people that are 12's and 14's and they are a lot smaller than Kirstie. I'm not sure in what world she would be a 2. Maybe Lane Bryant world.

  19. I am between a size 6 and a size 8. Kirstie is no size 6 , not is she an 8. I'm not hating on her, I just wish she would be more honest about it.

  20. I hate that she has to lie, but then I can see how Hollywood hates on anyone who isn't a size 2. Still, saying she's so tiny when she isn't just sets her up for ridicule. If you don't like your size, keep your size to yourself, right?

  21. Back in the day, Liz Taylor came to our little town fairly often because her nephew lives here. Anyway, she loved our Walmart!

  22. Definitely Kristie, or Niecy, or I'm surprised no one even hinted at Kelly Osborne? I'm thinking either Kristie or Kelly they both would be kind of embarassed by shopping there.

Kelly has been rich her whole life so maybe not her....everyone else before me was right in the fact that Bristol and Wendy would have no problem admitting they shopped there in a heartbeat

  23. I don't think it's Kirstie no matter how they worded it. Kirstie is always photographed in expensive clothes, and on her reality show she had a longtime stylist who brought in all the bags of her new clothes to her on a rack. That stylist was shopping at Saks and Polkadot and Moonbeams, not Walmart.

  24. Oh for f*ck's sake, first there were the urban department stores like Macy's and Marshall Fields that became one-stop-shops. Then there were the suburban malls that were one-stop-shops. Then Walmart came along when all those other places were saying low-income people don't want or need one-stop shopping and besides, if they did, it wouldn't be profitable. Give me a f*cking break and boycott the high-end department stores and surburban malls too if you're that anal about shopping at (gasp) Walmart. No, really.

I love Target and hate Wal-Mart, but only because every single damn time I walk in to one, no matter which location, I almost instantly start sweating like I'm having the world's worst hot flash. I finally found out why last time I was there -- one of the ladies who works there told me that corporate headquarters in Arkansas controls the A/C and heat in every Wal-Mart store. What do those rednecks in Arkansas know about the horrible heat and humidity we have in Houston?
Oh, plus every time I'm in Wal-Mart I have to wait in the checkout line for approximately a year and there's always at least a couple of brats screaming their heads off.

  26. Walmart does have a good plus sized section but the clothes arent that great. Since everyone sees them and everyone owns them, it would be tough to believe that anyone regularly photographed buys the majority of their outfit there.

Kelly Osbourne might buy her leggings and hair do dads and shirts for layering there.

  27. I immediately thought Bristol....

I prefer Target for clothes, but hey, if the girl wants to save some money, why not? I hope she isn't going too far away from home b/c then it seems the drive time + gas wasted these days would equal = stupid decision. :)

  28. I wear an XXXL at Target, and a size 10 at every other store/brand - it's all fucked up and means nothing, but I don't get why those women have to embarrass themselves by saying 0 or 2.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Heh. Maybe Kirstie is the blind about the celeb whose staff has to change the size tags in all of her clothes. (Jokes aside, I think that blind is about JLo. Or Kim Kartrashian.)

  30. This might be because the nearest Walmart to Hollywood is in south centrak, easily 45 minutes to an hour and a half away in traffic.

    ReplyDelete
  31. South Central that is.

  32. Communists, Schmommunists.

*This* is why I boycott Wal-Mart:

  33. I know I'm late to the party on this but I have to comment. There really is no plus size at Walmart. I tried my size in clothing a couple of times and couldn't even get into them. Barely fit into the next size up. I wondered what gives and found out on the label - the clothes are made in Bangladesh. How many overweight Bangladeshi women have you seen?

  34. She needs to just save the gas and do walmart.com.... .97 shipping and free returns....
