Casey Anthony To Go Into Hiding Upon Release

When Casey Anthony gets out of jail on Sunday, she is going into hiding and is supposedly going to alter her appearance from what everyone has been used to seeing. Hmmm. If you really want to find her, you probably won't have to look far. I think this is a person who will crave her new celebrity. She might hide for a few days, but I think she wants to be noticed and to be famous. If she is smart, she would stay in hiding, alter her appearance, write her book, make her money and live a life away from anyone and everyone. She won't though. My feeling is that anyone who enters things like hot body contests wants to be noticed. She is probably loving the idea of being famous and is probably thinking reality shows and movies and her pay per view event with OJ.

    that is all.

  2. I can only hope her punishment is she does not get the attention she craves - no book deals, interviews, nothing. Being ignored will infuriate her.

  3. "She is probably loving the idea of being famous and is probably thinking reality shows and movies and her pay per view event with OJ..."

...and she'll probably get all of those things, and then some.

I'm calling it right now: Casey's totally gonna have a cameo in the next Hangover installment. Wait for it.

  4. I have never been convinced that she in fact killed her child. Yes, she was obviously a shitty mother, but I have to say I might have agreed with the verdict myself had I been a juror.

I can totally believe someone neglected to watch the kid 1000% and she drowned, then they did a botch job hiding the body because they are stupid ass, dysfunctional idiots. People do stupid things and then make a bad situations worse.

Shit, kids drown in pools here fairly often (resort area with a shitload of pools). At least one a year...most are vacationers, but sometimes they're family/primary occupants.

Whatever. IDC anyway. I do care about the 1,400 kids killed in the US since Caylee died. Who gives a shit about THEM in the media?

  5. She'll be in "hiding" for about 5 days - then it's off to the bars!!! I am so sick of hearing about this bitch, and even more sick of HLN turning into all Casey, all the time.

  6. I would love if she went into hiding, but she won't.

  7. i boycott her and every one who wants to make money with Caylee's death!

  8. Oh, she killed her kid for sure. Whether it was purposeful or an accident, she did it. I'd bet a year's salary on it.
I agree with Enty, though - this trick loves her freedom and attention too much to be in hiding for long. Lucky us.

  9. I further predict she'll be back in jail in 2 years - most likely for check fraud or some other financial crime. Hmmm - or maybe assault - I can just see her in a bar fight!

I hope she does not have one moment of peace for the rest of her life. She is a despicable creature.

  11. Check fraud. It was her specialty.

  12. Even if she comes out of hiding, who would want to hang with her? Who would want to associate themselves with a 'not-guilty" baby killer ...

  13. Any of my fellow Canadians remember Karla Holmolka? She changed her name and is now living in the Caribbean with her husband and son. Makes me sick when I think about it, I lived in St Catharines on the same street as Karla and Paul (we were at 93 and they were at 57) and walked by the house everyday when I was pregnant with my son. After seeing this c word get a new life it makes me fear that Casey will to. Hurry up karma

  14. I hope O.J. has a knife.

  15. yes...she drowned after someone covered her mouth in masking tape and threw her in the pool.

  16. Well..if people are sending death theats to the JURORS, she damn well better hide for awhile.

  17. Well Karla did contribute, she assisted in killing her own sister, despicable person, as is Casey, but I also think there was something of an accident and the family tried covering it up, I suspect they or she tried to make it look like a kidnapping this is what the duct tape over the mouth thing is about. Poor Caylee everybody failed her her parents, grandparents and the justice system. But I don't think anybody should or could blame the jurors, you can't sentence somebody to the death penalty if there is not absolute 100% proof that she killed her child. Anyhow time will tell about Casey, I think she will go into hiding and move outside of North America. OJ was famous well before his trial, so she'll be nothing like OJ.

  18. kelly - I read the books about the Homolka case and a few months ago accidently started watching (and couldn't stop) the movie about her with Laura Prepon. Sounds like it was the Canadian equivilent to the Anthony case as far as media hype (although I understand Canadian law prohibits a lot of media coverage at the beginning?) I'd be terrified living down the street from that wacko. How could anyone marry her? Or am I just naive?

  19. kelly - that's crazy.

  20. @Kelly: OMG the horror that those 2 brought towards those girls. I thought that house was burnt down ... Killer Karla got away, but her day will come as for Paul B, he is rotting in Kingston Penn. We had a construction crew working there last year & all they could here was Paul yelling 24/7 for someone to pls talk to him. The guards told our guys that that is all Paul does everyday ... he is going crazy!

It was bigger than the Anthony case. Paul Bernardo was a serial-rapist and serial killer and it's widely believed Karla Homolka had a huge hand in the deaths of at least three women. The crown (prosecution) made a deal with the devil. She talked, he got life and she got 10 years.

She was prohibited from making money off of it (i.e., no book deal, no paid interviews, etc.). I think that's Thr law in Canada but I could be wrong.

Casey will be a pariah everywhere she goes. Innocent or guilty, no one would feel comfortable with that beside her. She won't be on any tv show or in any movie.

  23. I hate the misogyny this case has unleashed. Men kill their own children, and the mothers of their children ALL THE TIME, but when a woman does it, we hold her up and call her a "bitch."

Whenever a man kills their children, everyone looks for excuses like, oh, he was really stressed out about unemployment or money, but the fact that this woman was RAPED BY HER FAMILY MEMBERS all growing doesn't merit her any understanding that she has a mental health problem and attachment issues.

    WTF, world?

    ReplyDelete
  24. DNBer...I don't know what kind of people are making excuses for men that kill their own children, because I've certainly never heard anything like that. Male or female, you're an asshole+++ if you kill your child.

  25. Is Jose going with her?

  26. Hey Look - Radar has a photo of what Casey Anthony might look like after changing her appearance:

    Uh...Julia Stiles, anyone?

  27. Diane - The Ontario Government bought the house (it was a rental to Karla and Paul) it was torn down and the actual municipal address changed to, I believe 61 Bayview Drive. There was a publicity ban on the story until it went to court. I think if there hadn't have been a ban the deal of a lifetime wouldnt have been given to Karla (she got 12 years for 3 murders including her youngest sister and 1 assault on a Jane Doe). The lawyer who hid the tapes that Karla and Paul had made of them assaulting the girls who they killed and one of a Jane Doe that they doped and assaulted on tape, was later disbarred.

  28. I definitely co-sign with RocketQueen on that.

@JasonBlueEyes - I think it looks like Olivia Wilde (in the face)!

  30. I remember that Canadian case! There were tons of true crimes shows detailing it. That woman was a monster! Especially for doing that to her younger sister.

I saw Casey Anthony smiling during her sentencing. She is a female version of O.J. Simpson. She is way too narcissistic to stay out of the spotlight.

  31. I don't think anyone is giving the fathers who kill children a free pass. I think anyone who kills their kid is a heinous monster.

The sticker in this case got to me. I felt Casey sealed her baby in duct tape with a "kiss".

    ReplyDelete
  32. I thought the exact opposite-that people were less inclined to believe that she did it because she was a woman. I've NEVER heard excuses for any parent killing their child and definitely not men.

And it was never proven she was raped by anyway; if we're going to say it was never proven she killed her daughter, the same rules apply to her family members.

  33. I don't understand why the gender card has to be pulled out and waved around.
But I guess I sorta see where you're going with the whole mental anguish/attachment disorder thing, considering her putting out there that she was raped within the family.
But it does sorta seem like you're saying that she should get a little sentence in lieu of that fact OR that she had a freer ride due to her gender...?
Either way, I disagree with you.

  36. Just as there are women who are attracted to men in prison and/or on death row, there will be men attracted to Casey. She's shown how much she wants to party.

I hope she stays on the public's radar [at a very low level] -- Because i think she'll get in trouble again, and i don't want her to get away with anything because she's not recognized.

  37. @selenakyle - Not true. I live in Central Florida and most drowning deaths of children are the children of residents.

@kelly - I'm American and I know who Karly Homolka is. I knew she had been paroled but not that she was living in the Caribbean. She should be rotting behind bars somewhere. She, like Casey, is a sociopath.

@Diane - Glad to hear that about Paul. Glad to hear it.
