This is all the better because I actually love this actor. I would call him C list, although if you saw him, you would immediately recognize him. He was previously on a hit network comedy, disappeared for a few years, and is now back on a different network in a middling successful comedy. Anyway, he is a huge animal lover and over the course of this past season, he managed to convince the cast and crew to adopt over 50 dogs and cats from shelters. This is in addition to the 10 he has adopted. He says it is his goal each year to get 100 animals adopted.

ReplyDeleteTotal Awesomeness! I am a foster mom for a local dog rescue group and have myself rescued a dog that was sure to be put down if I hadn't.

ReplyDeleteI really liked Outsourced and was sad it got cancelled. His character was really starting to develop and he killed me in the episode where he was having sex with the main character's girlfriend's mom.

ReplyDeleteAnd seriously, this brought a tear to my eye. Yeah I've got a soft spot for animals and have rescued plenty of my own, but for him to reach out and get his peers to do the same? That's class.
