Another Blind Item

Which Teen Mom has been pregnant and had at least one abortion, and possibly two since she became a mom? This is a Teen Mom and not just one of the 16 & Pregnant moms.

  2. Let's take a guess: Bristol Palin? Wouldn't be a shock. If you start out having sex without condoms, you're not going to start asking guys to use them.

  3. teen mom, not just a mom who is a teen. its obviously on the MTV show...

  6. Good point, Nosey. Apologies. I would guess Maci. Unlike Jenelle or Amber, she's someone who is generally considered well-behaved. People would be shocked if Maci had such a sexual rap sheet, even though she has proven to be irresponsible by having one kid out of wedlock.

  7. Probably for the best. This woman needs to be forcefed birth control.

  8. Wow. I just adore these intriquing abortion -related blinds! It's just *great* that this info is somehow leaking out.

My guess is: none of my fucking business (and none of yours, either).

  9. Well, Ida, if you're in the public eye, you can't expect much in the way of privacy. Whatever your position on abortion, that's just the way it rolls.

Personally, it would be better if all of them were on Depo-Provera or Norplant. Anything that keeps them on birth control without them having to take it on a daily basis. Particularly with some of them, they are more likely to remember the time they should stop over at the dealer's house to score some meth than to take their Ortho at 10 a.m. on the dot every day.

  10. @sevenmack -- we don't hear about celebrity yeast infections, cervical polyps, uterine cancerous growths, or any other of the various maladies that can affect the vaginal region, yet there's a blind related to abortion on this site at LEAST once a week, and Enty *has* to be getting fed this info from someone.

I don't care if this is despicable reality trash we're talking about. This is still absolutely nobody's concern -- or, at least, it shouldn't be. It's a private medical matter.

  11. So tired of hearing about these effen Teen Moms/Famewhores. Enough already.

  12. What Patty said.

Also, while I agree with Ida on this, I have a feeling this is going to bring up why it was okay to have a blind on an actor's Alzheimer's, whereas this is not okay. For me, the issue is one of judgment. Let's face it, women/girls are judged when they have abortions, primarily by the religious right who are pro-life, but by others as well. Judgment based on religious beliefs (in my opinion) is kind of bullshit, because not everyone subscribes to those same beliefs. That being said, when people make a habit of abortions, it's kind of revolting to everyone.

With regards to the Alzheimer's, there's no judgment. Just compassion. My two cents.

  13. I'm not necessarily arguing with your point, Ida; I personally feel it's no one's concern at all. But abortions and pregnancies tend to be big deals as far as people are concerned. So when these things happen to public figures, they get leaked. And if there were rumors floating around about cancers and Alzheimer's (the subject of one blind item on this site this week), they get leaked as well.

So long as folks are willing to live their lives in the public eye and expose everything else they do, there are folks who will leak that information looking to profit from it. And so long as there are folks reading the blinds (especially people like us), the leaks will continue.

  14. I personally see nothing wrong with abortion. In a situation like this, a young woman has learned how difficult it is to raise a child and chosen a path that is better for her and for society. Seems like she did the right thing.

  15. PM - Exactly what I was going to say. Also, I do agree with Ida, with one exception - if this is Bristol Palin, there's a part of me that feels the extent of the hypocrisy of it all should be exposed.

  16. What Rocketqueen said!!

I personally do NOT agree with abortion...for me, but it's not my place to tell someone else they can't do it as well. There are far too many children that are born to the homeless, drug addicted women and to women who may be neither, but still do not have any interest in being a responsible parent. Yet we make abortion impossible for these women and so we have a plethura of children who grow up in orphanages or in foster homes (which have can sometimes be worse).

And for the record, I gave birth to my one and only child at 17. Difference is, I chose to be a mother.

  17. @Nart - I think you got it right!

Enty ends the last post with...
stay tuned for the next blind item.

  18. Yes he's been doing that lately...posting the articles right next to each other. I don't know if he's always been making it this easy for us and I was just too thick to get it, but I've definitely noticed it as a trend the past few months with

And I agree with RQ...there are people who would kill/harass/picket this girl in the US. Yes, it's also bad to reveal who's gay...that's why they're in the closet in the first place is it's economically dangerous and potentially life threatening for them to come out...But it's particularly not cool to reveal incendiary details like multiple abortions that religious extremists could use to actually crucify a teen.

  19. Ooooh I am thinking Jaime Lyn Spears . . .we have not hear from her in a while. Could this be why?

  20. Oops redact that - got excited and didnt read it all the way . . .Maci is my guess

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm with the, 'It's her business' people, except if it's someone who is making a ton of money preaching abstinence to our teens. Then yes, it is our business. Just like being gay is personal unless you are someone who is closeted and demonizing gays and blocking legislation that denies someone else their civil rights. In other words, liars and hypocrites are fair game.

  22. why are people guessing random people?? it's one of the "Teen Moms", isn't it??

i think jenelle would be a good guess, or it could be amber. definitely not maci or farrah, or caitlynn.

I am going with Jenelle who cannot stay off of weed long enough to complete her probation per another site. I am pro choice, but abortion as birth control because you are repeatedly a dumb ass really bothers me. Morning After Pill, something else please. : (

  24. Bristol Palin has had at least pregnancies and possibly more abortions so yes, I think her "business" should be exposed since she makes hundreds of thousands of year as an abstinence spokeswoman.

I'm always fascinated by people who say "abortion isn't for me" because if you had a pregnancy in which the baby died inside of you, a late stage abortion is your only option unless you want to die of septic shock and peritonitis. And many hospitals (not just the Catholic hospitals) refuse to even perform this life-saving procedure for the mother because it's associated with that nasty "a-word."

So......are you for the continual persecution of all abortion providers and therefore happy about women having higher chances of death due to babies who die in their wombs? Because that's what's going to be happening in Kansas, for example. There is now only ONE abortion provider in the entire state.

People like to be all, "Well, I think women should have "choice" but I personally wouldn't make that choice (stepping down from their high horse.)" How about making sure that critical medical procedures are available to save the lives of pregnant women who attempt to bring their babies to full term but who find themselves in the terrible situation of having a dead fetus inside of them - and thus be at risk for losing THEIR life if they don't receive this procedure?

'Cause nobody ever talks about that one. It's all just this black and white, "I'm for it" or "I'm against it." Some procedures are not particularly pleasant - amputating a limb, for example -- that's something that some religious people object to, too. So should amputation be outlawed as a procedure?

Sometimes abortions are medical necessary, folks. But the crazies on the religious Right want women to essentially be at risk of dying when a pregnancy goes wrong through their continual, aggressive, and highly successful campaign to make people think "Oh, it's a moral issue."

In many cases it's a MEDICAL issue. And far too people are going to be available in the coming years (or ALLOWED, legally) to provide this critical procedure.

Do you want your daughter or granddaughter to die one day because her pregnancy went horribly wrong and some asshole has prevented her from being able to have this life-saving procedure?

It's a fucking slippery slope, people. Get clear about it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Edited: Bristol Palin has had at least three pregnancies -- Trig, Tripp, and the baby she was pregnant with while she was dancing on Dancing with the Stars.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Felicia - I'm pretty sure that you're referring to a D&C procedure. That is where they remove an already dead embryo/fetus from the uterus - it is not by any means a type of abortion.

And I'm one of those "Well, I think women should have "choice" but I personally wouldn't make that choice" people - it's nothing about a high horse, just a personal feeling. I have my own feelings about it, but respect that others have different situations and beliefs and should therefore make their own choice.

I think that discussing the morality of abortion has gotten us pretty far off-topic...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Also, as much as I love to bash on the Palin family, there's no way that Bristol gave birth to both Trig and Tripp; there were only 8 months between those two, so even if she got pregnant IMMEDIATELY, there's no way that a baby born 1 to 1.5 months early could weigh 7 pounds.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Not true Cathy. Babies that must be 'aborted' at 8 or 9 months for medical reasons---it's not as simple as a D&C. I regret to use the inflammatory term but the foes call it "Partial Birth Abortion."

Felicia, I agree with you about the slippery slope, especially when it comes to individual health issues. I refuse to believe that any woman takes abortion lightly (and those who do shouldn't breed anyway). Especially a late-term abortion. Like anyone could feel a baby in their belly for 6 months and then wake up one day and say, "Ah, kill it."
I also find it incredibly queer when these old white MEN stand up in legislatures all over the country and let us women know how to tackle our issues---OR ELSE. I think it's sexist and ugly that these men seem to think women are cavalier about such a thing! They have to make laws to help us ladies, otherwise we'd probably die of the vapors. GEEZ!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I know what a partial-birth abortion is and that those are often medically necessary, but Felicia is referring to procedures where the fetus is already dead. The reason so many people take issue with partial birth abortions is because the fetus has a beating heart when the procedure is performed.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Anonymous2:09 PM

Felicia, you are full of crap. I don't know of anyone -- including my Southern Baptist brethren -- who would object to a doctor removing an already dead fetus from a woman's uterus.
You also don't know that Bristol Palin has been pregnant multiple times, yet you're on here blabbing about it as if it's a verifiable and widely-known fact. It isn't. No amount of wishful thinking on your part will make it so.

    ReplyDelete
  31. And not just a beating heart, Cathy, but all the other aspects of a human being that would define it as such. Even if you are strongly pro-choice, the idea of actually taking the life of what would be considered by most people as a baby is a ghastly idea.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hate to break it to you people, but a foetus has a beating heart at less than 9 weeks. Basically, when most/all of abortions are performed.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I would just like to point out that it takes two to make a baby. Let's stop vilifying women who are left in this situation. The MEN have a responsibility to put a condom on as well. At no point has this woman been accused of raping a bloke. If you want to put it in, put one on.

    ReplyDelete
  34. These teen Moms agree to go on TV and be known just because they were pregant. In this case I think they have already given approval of their birthing habits.

Sure, they're young and dumb but they'll learn one way or another.

    Good luck to them.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @seven/rq - I was trying to find a way of saying not dead, without using the word "living" to avoid starting a debate about when life starts :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. i am gonna say amber...ive heard in the past some rumors that she was prego again. In my opinion, if it is her, she made the right choice, her poor baby girl is suffering, and she is unfit to bring another hcild into the world.

Birth control is not hard. I've done it for my than half my life at this point, and it's worked pretty damned well for me.

  40. my sister had an abortion at around 6 months. It was twins and it was the hardest decision that she ever made. She didnt know she was pregnant for most of the time because she had always been irregular, used birth control and condoms and didnt gain very much weight at all. There was absolutely no way she could have had those kids... her boyfriend had no job, she was only working part time and living with parents who wouldve not supported her AND babies, and she was still in school. She couldnt have financially supported one child, much less two. I dont think it's ghastly at all that she aborted at such a late date. I think it was the best choice she could've made for her situation. She has since finished school, has a great job and boyfriend and hopes she will have another chance at twins one day.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am all for abortion, but as someone who had a premature baby and spent time in the NICU section with preemies and crying parents praying for their babies to survive I have to question late term abortions. I realize not everyone is aware early in their pregnancy that they are pregnant.
Lori, my heart goes out to the decision your sister made. I can't imagine what she went through.

    ReplyDelete
  42. oh boo-hoo on her right to privacy. the girl got caught AGAIN w/ an unplanned pregnancy. maybe she should wear a t-shirt that says "i don't use birth control and get knocked up real easy!" so her next screw uses something.

you get a yeast infection; no one knows why. yu get pregnant; everyone knows why.

she needs to get a clue and stop using abortion for birth control. first unplanned pregnancy a mistake. second time; you made a choice to skip the bc. and for those of you thinking "you can get pregnant when you're on something", no kidding! use 2 forms of bc. better yet, don't have sex. you're too stupid to figure out how to keep from having unwanted pregnancies; stay home and care for the kid you've already got.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Am definitely for a woman's right to choose...do not think it should be used as a continued method of birth control, though. I've been having sex for a very long time. It ain't that hard to NOT get knocked up.
