Apparently publishing companies don't want the happy family version book they got from Melissa Gilbert this time. Instead they want her ex husband Bruce Boxleitner to write a book that tells everything he knows. The Enquirer goes into some detail about what they think Bruce knows like Melissa's coke and booze habit. Apparently she was drinking two bottles of wine every night at one point and doing coke.
Oh, and while she was getting pregnant while dating Rob Lowe, it turns out the reason he dumped her when she told him she was pregnant, was maybe not because she was pregnant, but because it may have been the baby of another. Turns out she was also dating Scott Baio and Tom Cruise at the same time she was dating Lowe. Hmm. Well, I am guessing the baby was probably not Tom's baby, but I could see it being Scott's baby. Oh, and all of that happened while she was just 17, so imagine what the next few years of her life were like. I think a better bet would be a book by her first ex-husband. It would seem he probably had more insight into the really bad Melissa.
