Jessica Biel Has A Big Secret About Justin Timberlake Or...
Let me ask you a question. Lets say you have supposedly been in a relationship with someone for a few years. The two of you break up. I am sure that many of you are classy enough to stay friends with your ex. I know this is especially true if there are children involved or maybe you have a company together, or some issue that brings you together frequently. You could also be friends if you think there may be a chance on hooking up later. But, even if you are friends with this person, are you going to take to the pages of Vanity Fair and call them the most significant person in your life? How will this make your new special someone feel? I think the only way you do something like this is if the other person knows a big secret about you which makes you feel compelled to be really nice, or, you were only friends to begin with. Why do I say that? Going back to my first example, if you tell your new special someone that you said this because you were always only friends, then it is much easier to swallow. You can call a friend who has only ever been a friend the most significant person in your life all you want. Well, until you marry your new special someone then you kind of have to change. So, this kind of fits into the whole Justin and Jessica just being friends thing.
He's young, they were together a long time and maybe perhaps he is speaking the truth. Or it coul be what you said, too...
ReplyDeleteIf he were *truly* classy, he wouldn't have said anything at all. No comments about any of his exes. How is it going to make Biel feel to read that quote? Yeah, she's so "important" and "significant" that he felt the need to eke out some strange at every available opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE his solo music, and he's great on SNL and everything, but he's a terrible actor and kind of a douche in real life. An understatement, I know.
best beard ever!
ReplyDeleteI don't see what the big deal is. For example, some people marry a person that they eventually consider their best friend. Others have good spouses, but don't consider them a best friend.
ReplyDeleteAn ex can still be a significant person in one's life, but you are not a good fit to last a lifetime.
Or he could just want to be the one smelling like roses after the break up.
ReplyDeleteMonthly magazines have a huge lead time, therefore, he could have felt that way at the time the interview took place. Things change with people, so sometimes it's better to take the high road than fling insults. The only one that reflects poorly on is the one saying it.
ReplyDeleteB626.....that's what I hear, she has had a girlfriend for a long lime and him..well there have been so many blinds about him...I believe he will do whatever he needs to do or say to keep the status quo ..
ReplyDeleteI still hang with a couple of my ex's...one of whom broke my heart in a million pieces...and I feel like I loved them for a reason so ( for the most part ) I try and remain as friendly as possible. Would I call any of them the most significant person in my life? Never. But people say weird things right after a break up. He probably did her wrong too many times and probably feels like an ass. I dont think everything is a conspiracy in Hollywood. It just sounds like JT knew he effed her over a lot and wants to say nice things about her to try and make up for that. At least, in my experience, this is what dudes do when they are the ones that eff up...
ReplyDeleteshrugs shoulders...but what do I know? Just speculation
Ida - he made the comment as a way of saying he wasn't going to discuss the breakup...so he was being classy about it, I think.
ReplyDeleteI kind of agree with Rose. By all accounts, he wasn't the BEST to Biel, particularly at the end (anyone else read about what happened at his birthday - omg), but an article I read yesterday showed he has ALWAYS spoken well of all his exes, that's just how he do.
Unfortunately in this same article he said he's probably done with music, which is just CRIMINAL, if you ask me. The dude has such an amazing voice, and it sucks to be deprived of his music. FutureSexLoveSound is an AMAZING album.
Enty, do you think he is going to marry the new special someone?
ReplyDeleteEnty, do you think he is going to marry the new special someone?
ReplyDeleteJessica must still be holding on to the bejeweled cock ring with Pippy's DNA on it. Very significant reason for him to play nice.
ReplyDeletei think this is pretty standard for him.
ReplyDeletehe only said nice things about Diaz after they broke up and now they're doing movies together.
meh.
I can't believe they led the story with that quote. Shoddy writing.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand him.
ReplyDeleteWell she did give him a diamond encrusted cock ring, so maybe he is still grateful for that gift. Its the gift that keeps on giving.
ReplyDeleteWell this is better then the cry me a river video with the britney look a like about her cheating on him.
ReplyDeleteI think he was just trying to be an adult about things the best he knows how.
RQ, the birthday party happened after Timberlake had decided he was done with their fake relationship, but Biel was still trying to bully him into staying together. Not that that makes him any less of a jerk, but it's explains it somewhat.
ReplyDeleteI also think it's a shame he's given up on music. I think he's a crappy actor, but I like his music.
*it My keyboard has a mind of its own.
ReplyDelete@Ida - Your 2nd sentence sums up how I feel about him career wise, also.
ReplyDelete@Rocket & Mooshki - What happened at his birthday party?
Wasn't Biel really tight with his mother? Maybe that's what he meant. They were together (whether real or not) for awhile.
I think he is a douche. Biel probably knows he has a thing for guys on the side or something. Biel is as exciting as oatmeal. Britney and Cameron had more life.
ReplyDeleteMCH, Biel gave this long speech about how great he was, and when she was done, he said something like "Party on, Bitches!" and totally blew her off. It would've been a shitty thing to do if they were in a real relationship.
ReplyDeleteI've never remained friends with any of my exes and I would never say anything nice about them either so I just don't get it at all.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe he just exaggerated.
ReplyDeleteTerrible if he is done with music. He is a great singer and performer. He is a terrible actor, just awful.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, I think he's the one that has the secret about her, and I think he was just saying that stuff to make himself look good to the public. He doesn't want to be hated for "dumping" her by people who don't understand that their relationship was not much to begin with, and, if ever real, had been over for some time. She begged him to stay with her, at least in the public eye... diverts some of the "rumors" about her. I think he must have really cared about her (not in THAT way, but as a friend) and probably still does, to have stuck it out for so long, basically as a favor to her.
Eh, you never know. I have an ex who I'm very close with-I'm pretty sure he's gay and we broke up years ago. We still talk frequently and his older brother is my best friend.
ReplyDeleteI have a boyfriend now that I'm dating seriously, knows my ex and his brother (we met through my ex actually) and doesn't have a problem with us remaining friends.
Strange things happen.
I thought he was slamming Britney. I think Pipsqueak still holds a grudge.
