Since the Casey Anthony trial continued to be fairly boring again yesterday, I thought I would find some parents who are just as worthy of your hate. Well, one is a parent and one is a step-parent. Brandon Bishop of Allentown, PA was arrested for beating, choking, kicking and punching the 2 year old daughter of his fiancee. Why? He told police it is because the girl had been given too lenient a life and needed toughening up. Yep, he really said that. He admitted to police he has been beating the girl for several months. The girl's mother also was arrested because she admitted to police she knew the guy was beating her daughter but did nothing.
I seriously hope the people in jail do exactly to this guy what he did to that poor little girl. Maybe that will stop him from ever doing this again.

I hope that the legal system puts this poor girl in foster care, that she is IMMEDIATELY up for adoption, and not part of an attempt at "family re-unification."

These two were likely abused as children themselves...that might *explain*, but never *excuse* their behavior.

ReplyDeleteWTF is the POINT of this? Why even alert us to this lovely, lovely news story? I mean, I think it's safe to say that most of us are horrified and disturbed. What kind of dialogue do you want out of this post? Yes, child abuse happens. It happens everywhere, and it probably always will, since some human beings are total monsters. There's no DEBATE here, unless some troll feels like defending this piece of shit, and I don't even want to check back and see.
Also, he's not a "parent". Being a parent entails a heck of a lot more than just fucking a woman who already has a kid.
Nothing in the world gets me more pissed off than child abuse or animal abuse, and I don't need to see examples of it constantly on here. All the Casey Anthony bullshit is bad enough.

ReplyDeleteIt's harsh and unevolved, but I have zero sympathy for anyone who abuses animals and children. As far as I'm concerned, they can be put in some horrific foreign prison to rot out the rest of their miserable lives.
I made a comment about the baby abuse stories last week. It's getting a bit too depressing over here. Everywhere we look, there is some piece of shit in the news who has hurt or worse killed a child, so do we really need it on a gossip site?
