You Say Overdose, Dr. Drew Says Pneumonia

Apparently Jeff Conaway is not going to die. In fact, according to Dr. Drew, Jeff is a pretty healthy guy, not brain dead and did not suffer an overdose. Instead, he was admitted to the hospital because he has pneumonia. After seeing his patient, Dr. Drew went to Twitter because all doctors talk about their patients on Twitter and said, "He is stable & looks like he will recover from his pneumonia. Not an OD like press is alleging & certainly not dead."

But definitely a candidate for the next season of Celebrity Rehab. Glad Dr. Drew managed to get some publicity from the pain of another.

  1. Dr Drew needs to read his own book on narcissism.

At least Dr. Drew cared enough to go see what was really up.

  5. Dr Drew is definitely dork hot, but I do suspect his desire to be on television any way he can be.

Ah, Dr Drew. Perhaps a little therapy to see why you need constant attention.

Yes, this "doctor" is hot, but he is now drunk on the famous kool-aid. I forgot all about that book he had written:

  7. To be fair, he has since gone on Twitter and said Jeff had gotten worse since the initial reports, after it had looked like he was going to beat the pneumonia and sepsis.

  8. pneumonia kills people every day and if he's septic too, he's in very bad shape.
no doubt his poor physical condition from all the years of drug abuse aren't helping either.
if drew said jeff's a 'pretty healthy guy', then he's a bigger idiot than i thought.

Princess, I'm sure Drew has said "the latest" to stop some of the darts currently thrown his way.

  10. I'm sorry but I still like Dr. Drew. I watch his new nightly show a lot. He knows what he's talking about most of the time. I'm dealing with a husband who can't stop relapsing and is now gone over the edge by being violent. Dr. Drew tells it like it is. (oh and he's damned hot!)

  11. New Life and Attitude, stay safe and take care of yourself.

I dunno gang, maybe he wanted to get the real reason out? I know I would hate for people to think I OD'd when I didn't.

But then again I am not a celeb or a drug addict.

New Life, sorry to hear about your situation. But please know when to leave. Some addict's rock bottoms are seriously/fatally injuring others.

If you decide to leave, I wouldn't let him know for safety reasons.

  13. This isn't the 1st overdose that spun into pneumonia. Seems to be the common go-to illness for publicists in California.

Is Jeff still in a coma? His addiction really is sad & I hope he lives long enough to beat his demons. Not something that's going to happen w/cameras & dr drew sniffing around.

Thank gawd dr putz was there to keep spinning this story. Does this guy even still have his medical license?

  14. Umm, why is anyone other than Jeff's family tweeting about his condition??? Sketchy.

  15. Dr. Drew is a self aggrandizing jerk who needs to STFU. He abandoned medicine and science to become a worse version of Dr. Phil. I also don't think he knows about, or should be taking about, Jeff Conaway's condition, since he quickly backed away from his original BS Tweet.

I just really dislike him. Can ya tell?
