MTV Covering Up Jersey Shore Fight

When The Situation got his butt kicked by Ronnie on Monday in Italy, it was pretty obvious that was what happened. I mean, The Situation had a black eye, Ronnie had scraped knuckles. I guess the great abs does not really help you when you are getting punched in the face by a guy twice your size. MTV though either wants everyone to watch the show and to be able to tease this later or is going to try and forget about it happening because it does not work into the storyline they have going this season. The network says that The Situation received medical treatment for an injury sustained in the house. That kind of sounds like he slipped and fell, or got an STD from the two women he smushed at once the other night. I wonder if one of the guys had done this to a female member of the cast if MTV could have got away with saying an injury sustained in the house.

  1. They better show it. Snooki got punched twice and they had no problem. I gave this up when Ronnie went out of control and Sam wouldn't leave him but fair is fair.

  3. I'm done watching this crap after last season. Ron was physically and emotionally abusive to Sammi. Regardless of how she acts, when he trashed her room and broke all of her things, MTV had no problem airing it. Young girls need to know those types of relationships are abusive and they should get out of them ASAP.

  4. Oh, they'll show it. They're just waiting for it to actually air. My prediction: Situation yelling at Sammy/Ronnie for being back together, Sammy yelling at Ronnie for letting Mike talk shit, Ronnie releasing his roid rage on Situation's face. Was bound to happen in this crowd.

And I totally agree, Mandy - Ronnie is a nightmare and completely abusive. I don't understand why Sammy keeps going back, especially after SEEING it later on tv.

  6. Ronnie is abusive. Sammi's family needs to step in & get her away from him. MTV needs to stop this abuse!

  9. I hate these people. I have never seen an episode and I refuse to ever sit through one. They make me sick.

  10. I'm not normally a violent person, but I'm glad SOMEBODY punched "The Situation" in the face--maybe it'll knock some sense into him, but I'm not holding my breath.
Ronnie and Sammi's co-dependence continues. He abuses her because she keeps coming back for more.

  19. I only watched 5 minutes of this show (first season; they were in a club) before I had to turn it off. Abuse ain't escapist entertainment for me.

  20. MTV shows have serious law-crossing events caught on camera with all the hours and hours of footage and all they do is just lawyer up to keep the money making machine churning.

A friend of mine worked post production on Teen Mom 2 and they filmed that one boyfriend telling his baby-mamma he was going to burn down the house. They had to get a lawyer in to see if they had to turn the guy in and what they needed to do (like pay for anger-management classes and pay off the family) to keep the story going or else all the work up to that point would be lost as they legally couldn't keep going with the story.

Sometimes, reality television does get more real than people realize.

Yea, they better show it!! Why wouldn't they?!! All the sudden they get morals & have boundaries about what's shown??
