Celebrity Wife Swap?
ABC has ordered some episodes of Celebrity Wife Swap. The great thing about the real Wife Swap is that you had the luxury of finding the two most disparate couples in the world and throwing them into the mix. With celebrities, no one wants to look bad and for the most part they are all fairly self centered and don't do much for themselves. I am sure people will watch if they can get a big lineup, and Victoria Jackson says she has been approached, but although her politics are probably different, how else is she personally different from the handful of celebrities the producers will probably be able to choose from?
The appeal of the show is the differences and making people do something they don't really want to do. I just don't think this will be as good.
Not unless it's a real good old-fashioned 70's style wife swap. I'd watch that.
ReplyDeleteVictoria Jackson is 100% certifiable. A total loon. I'm sure that would make good TV. Although if all the celebrities they show are as z-list as her, it might die off pretty quick.

You think Victoria Jackson is concerned about looking bad at this point? Her own husband and children have nearly disowned her by this point.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see her live with a family of ultra-liberal atheists that gets together to watch "Glee", that play lady Gaga and Ricky Martin music all day long, and drive around in vehicles with bumper stickers that say "Vted 4 Obama."
Can ABC make that happen?

maybe swap a celeb wife w/ a typical wife. would love to see one of the hollywood moms doing carpool, snacks and cleaning up craft projects
