Your Turn

No Random Photos or Four For Friday today. Sorry. I will make up the FFF on Monday. Anyway, for today, I saw a statistic that said 17 percent of women watch porn on the internet and that almost 20% are addicted. So, my question to all of you is do you watch porn on the internet, stick to videos or just do not watch porn at all?

  1. Internet only. Watching too much can make me nauseous.

  2. Of course, Internet!

  3. I don't watch it at all -- not a prude, just not interested

  4. Used to rent videos with the hubby before kids. Haven't done that in ages. We avoid those sites like the plague because of, well, the electronic plague. Had problems with viruses and no longer trust any of them. We now don't have an interest in it. Although, reading erotica is an occasional substitute.

  5. I don't like porn. No clue why. Now my husband on the other hand...

  6. My ex-girlfriend said it best when it came to porn: "I don't watch it because they're the ones having all the fun." (My Girlfriend was awsome!)

Don't really watch porn myself but I'm fascinated by porn stars. Well, the female ones anyway. I I read Jenna'a book and last fall I read Tera's book and I want to read Monica Mayhem's book. Why, a gorgous young woman decides to go into porn than into mainstream is intersting to me. They should all write books.

  7. I totally do--Avenue Q did a great job of spelling out what exactly the internet was for.

  8. Very interesting point Nate. I'm sure there's a self-esteem issue in there somewhere.

I always enjoyed Tera because her husband is the Spyder Jones aka Evan Seinfeld from the HBO series Oz. I remembered seeing him on Oz full frontal and thinking he should be in porn. Now I'm thinking of winning the Mega Millions ....

  9. I totally do. It's much less private than going somewhere to rent a video.

  10. Today's porn does absolutely nothing for me.

Vintage erotica from the Victorian era & pin-up/burlesque from the 40's & 50's...NOW we're talking! Give me a picture of Bettie Page or Lili St. Cyr and you won't see me for hours.

  11. Not on the internet for myriad reasons (our computer at home sucks, viruses, screen is small), but my bf and I have been known to rent a naughty movie on PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No, I prefer to read my smut.....use my imagination ....way better..

  13. G, Tera and "spyder" broke up 2 years ago. He's now diddling some porn girl who turns out may be underage.

    Wonderful.

  14. Rocket, download a program called smitfraudfix. It's a good virus removal tool.

  15. Like MISCH, I perfer my erotica in print form, but I will rarely view porn on my computer. However, the only porn I enjoy watching is gay porn. I thought that I was really weird because of that, but several other straight women have told me they like gay porn, too. I guess it is because the guys are generally good-looking, production values seem a little better, and no nasty skanks with their totally fake and really loud orgasm screams and vagina close ups.

I've watch some soft-porn on cable (HBO, Showtime, etc.) find them boring and stupid. Only did it to see what the big deal was about them. Rented a supposedly porn movie and watch it with my gay friend. Still thought it was stupid hahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Nope. Sorry no porn. I end up wondering how they got to the point of doing that? Do their parents think it's OK? Why would they want to be used that way? What the hell do you put on your tax refund as job? Where is their self esteem?

I just never could never shut my mind off without thinking about all those questions.

  18. I don't watch it on the internet and used to watch it on video with hubby sometimes, but it's hard to schedule it in with a teenager and kindergardner in the house!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Many years ago I saw part of one porn movie on the old satellite station American Triple X-tasy. The acting was terrible and the story stupid. I know, I know, you don't watch porn and expect an Oscar winner. I've never watched another as my daydreams are much better.

  20. Recipes are my porn. There I've said it. Yes I'm addicted. Sometimes I'll download OR print two or three a day. Chocolate sends me into ORBIT multiple times!

  21. My one and only porn watching experience...at a party and some guy put on a video and there was Linda Lovelace and a german shepard. My 4 year old was speechless. Needless to say, we skedaddled.

  23. My luck my computer would not only get a virus but then it would get stuck like one of those very annoying pop up windows. Actually I have never watched it on the computer but way back when (before kids) we would get one on ppv and personally I wanted to see more of the men doing something instead of a possibly fake orgasm with huge boobs, the scenarios were always the same. Maybe it is different now?

    ReplyDelete
  24. RJ I'm with you on the gay porn thing. Don't watch any on my computer because if there was a brand new virus about that no one had gotten before it'd find me in less than a second i have the worst luck with these things.

I once watched a so called soft porn film on tv cert 18 here in england and it was the blandest thing I've ever seen. Very little nudity, it cut away from sex scenes before the did any actual sexing and the acting was diabolical. It was however one of the most unintentionally funny films i have ever seen.

Occasionally I'll channel surf at night and I'll play the date the movie by the pubic hair, or lack there of, game

Lol can't believe i wrote so much about porn in a public medium

I really don't watch it. Have in the past, but only when I was watching it with a guy, and trying all the stuff they do. LOL I get more turned on by reading a sexy book or using my own imagination. I would never watch it on the internet though, because of the viruses, and because once you visit one of those types of sites, you get a mailbox full of offers to increase the size of all your parts, and my parts are just fine.

  26. Porn is awesome.

That's all I really feel comfortable saying on the matter. You guys are great, but you don't really need to know more.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Soft porn is about all I can handle these days. Real Housewife Tamra and her boytoy in the bath tub was about the hottest thing I've seen in a while.

    I know, how pathetic...

    ReplyDelete
  28. "like" interweb porn! Its a great 2 minute fix for the gal who has no boyfriend and no imagination these days..

    ReplyDelete
  29. Another straight girl here who enjoys gay porn. I, too, have always thought I was weird that way. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. ;p

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't watch porn. But I love a good hot, sexy scene in a regular movie. My question to everyone is, what's the hottest scene in a regular movie?

    ReplyDelete
  31. There's porn on the internet?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Laura- Michael Douglas, Glenn Close, elevator. Holy shit! *L*

    ReplyDelete
  33. I have this thing about women empowerment. Not in a femininisty way but more of a "taking care of your shit without a man in your life" way.
Porn offers that. A woman who likes sex in all forms, wants to earn a living and create an independent life...porn! Oh, and the AVNs in Vegas look like a friggin' blast.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Laura, it's not really a sex scene, more of a foreplay scene, but I love the scene in "North by Northwest" with Eva Marie Saint and Cary Grant where they are making out in her small cabin on the train. I've always thought that scene was incredibly sexy! Also love the "You know how to whistle don't you, Steve?" scene between Bogie and Bacall in "To Have and Have Not". Again, not sex, but still very sexy.

  35. Funny, I watch porn on occasion, always on the internet, but what I find weird is that I only like lesbian porn. I'm a completely heterosexual woman and have very consistently good sex (I frequently climax) with my husband. I've never actually been turned on by the thought of being with another woman, but seeing two chicks go at it totally turns me on. Does that make me like a pseudo-bisexual or something?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Internet - videos are too expensive to watch the same thing over and over again. Variety is the spice of life. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I totally do. And I'm so glad to see I'm not the only straight female who watches gay porn.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Never watched or seen any porn on the Internet intentionally (meaning that there were times I landed on a porn page accidentally and immediately left it!).

I will admit to watching Cinemax soft porn sometimes and having a good laugh at the bad plots and dialogue! :-D

    ReplyDelete
  39. Married. . . if I want porn, I say "honey". . . .

    ReplyDelete
  40. I get my gay porn online.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @UnicornRReal - Oh yeah...because respect is totally outdated and it's all about that bullshit "empowerment" that comes with porn. Give me a fucking break. Do you actually believe that bullshit. There is NO female empowerment in porn. PERIOD. FULL STOP. END OF BLOODY CONVERSATION. You just want to have a shitload of sex and degrade men. Just say that's what it is and don't lie to yourself and everyone around you. If you want to follow that line of logic, just start stripping and smoking meth. That's the first step to your "getting shit done without a man in your life" bullshit "empowerment" you were talking about.

    Fuck.

  42. For some odd reason, Jeremy Irons and Genevieve Bujold in "Dead Ringers" when he has her (compliantly) fastened to the bed with surgical tubing and clamps.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No female empowerment in porn?

I don't think there is anything wrong with women working in porn.
Why do people want to stereotype these women as abused druggies?

    ReplyDelete
  44. i don't watch it online. my husband has an app that he'll hand me if he doesn't get the job done.
    lol srsly.

my mate is obsessed with the black porn actress, pinkyxxx. apparently pinky does well for herself and is quite successful.

i'm torn on porn. it's just not my cup of tea, and i do believe that most of the women have experienced sexual trauma. i don't judge my mate though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I watch quite a bit of porn on the internet. Might be addicted, might not; I could live without it. Porn used to be found in convenience stores easily enough...

I watch it with hubby now and then and don't mind if hubby watches it with me or without me.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Off Topic:
Women in porn do it for various reasons, money and fun are the top two from what I understand.

This is the 21st Century, if a woman wants to do something, she goes ahead and does it. That's "empowered" in my humble opinion.

    On Topic:
I rarely watch porn. I just don't get into it, the whole thing is too fake for me :/ Now, give me *good* erotica any day and that'll put a smile on my face... :P

    ReplyDelete
  48. Definitely porn friendly marriage, here. I am open to *almost* all kinds of porn - excepting the infamous 2 girls 1 cup style and the like.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Watch porn fairly regularly. Most of the performers are not the most physically attractive unless, as others have noted, you look at gay performers. Also, vintage porn is a total gas. They look like real people because it was shot before plastic surgery, tats and piercings became the thing to do. Plus, it's sweet. I've got one where it's a newlywed couple who go at it in their back yard, and afterwards they head back to their house, turn and wave at the camera before going inside. Soooo cute.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I keep a modest little locked-PC collection and when convenient, a few online sites I visit. I think it's funny that they are just now reporting on women addicted to it. I could have introduced them to several study subjects years ago in college when I lived in an all girl's dorm! Fun times...

    ReplyDelete
  51. EM..
I too watch lesbian porn or masturbation porn, on the internet. Its not weird, nor is it latent homosexuality.
The vast majority of porn is made for men and what they find exciting. This is oceans apart from what women find exciting.
Example of mens version: Woman masturbating on a bed, (by running a dildo sensually around her body and moaning while wearing high heels and fishnets) man is standing in the doorway peeking, finally cant contain himself and barges in on her. She is thrilled by the interruption, grabs his wiener and starts sucking and fondling it with joy and abandon.
    If this were reality:
Woman naked on the bed with the covers over her, putting that vibrator in a place where it matters, man barges in and she either looks at him annoyed because he ruined her special time, or she smiles and hands him the vibrator so he can do it for her!

  52. Anotheramy - Spot on!

Too concerned about computer viruses to watch online, but I have a small porn collection of mostly freebies given away with Adam & Eve orders back in the 90's/early 00's. OK, I also ordered a few feature-length ones and they aren't too terrible.

I haven't seen male gay porn, but there is a scene in The Velocity of Gary where Thomas Jane and Vincent D'Onofrio are kissing and I found myself getting really turned on by it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Not often but when I do, it's on the net!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Internet! And I get my fill when I'm back home because of course all the sites are blocked in the Middle East - they think it's sinful.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I don't watch it but keep hearing about a male star Manuel Ferrara-all the female stars request him for their scenes, I'm intrigued by it

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm not interested in porn movies. The people gross me out and the fuck scenes don't turn me on AT ALL.
However, I love watching Yaoi or Shounen-Ai anime. Now, that's hot!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Sure I'll watch on the internet. When my husband got our first big-screen tv we watched a porn. We were horrified to realize we could really see pimples on asses. I generally find it boring because it's the same formula - girl goes down on man, girl on girl, girl goes down on man again, man finally gets it in. zzzz after a while, but I honestly don't get the videos of sucking someone's shit. That is too extreme for my stomach.

Funny story - my brother and his then-wife went to her grandmother's house in cottage country. She was away for 2 weeks and had one of those old giant black satellite dishes. During a thunder and lightning storm they were watching the Playboy Channel (which is also pretty boring). That's right. Lightning hit the dish. They tried to get someone to fix it before Grandma came back because that was the only channel that would come in. Someone finally came to fix it 2 weeks after Grandma came home!

  58. Pr0n on the computer? Well...just trailers, really. I absolutely ADORE Digital Playground. Hubby and I are great fans of their movies! Jessie Jane is our fave, and Tommy Gun is MY fave, LOL! We buy the DVDs to enjoy anytime we ~desire!~ if you get my drift, lol!

We do it all: brothels, swaps, strips....it's all good and FUN! 25 years together and we're still having fun!

Also, I must confess to LOVING the kinds of ebooks they have on www.allromanceebooks.com

I'm not a writer or anything like that...just a woman who likes to read about sex in any form! They have some great free ebooks based on LBTG or S&M! To each their own y'all! :D

  59. Gosh, i'm a total food porn devotee. Now with the respect to the "other" porn, i'm also a total believer that the brain is the biggest sexual organ. Leave me to my own thoughts or let me read something [even slightly] suggestive, and my mind blossoms. Visually, not so much. Maybe i just haven't seen the "right" stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sorry, please drop the "the" between "with" and "respect". Maybe i'm overwhelmed by the subject ;-)
