Shirley Maclaine Had Sex With 3 Guys In One Day

Shirley Maclaine is a funny woman. I have to admit I love her. Much like her brother, Warren Beatty, Shirley has some sexual tales of her own to spill and she did some spilling on Oprah. In an appearance on her show, Shirley said that although she was a serial monogamist, there was one time she was traveling with a political campaign and everyone was having sex with each other so she decided to have a little fun. "I wasn't into sexcapades, although I tried it once. I had three people in one day."

Oprah's mouth almost hit the floor. Apparently Shirley had a guy for breakfast lunch and dinner. She said it was the only time she did something like that. She also said she never had sex with Jack Nicholson because he was way too dangerous for her. I can see that. So, now the question is who were the three guys? Was one a Kennedy?

  1. She is darling in that picture. Not sure what to say about the three people in one day thing.

  2. Wait, was this in her current lifetime or like the time she claimed to be Charlemagne's lover?

I'll go with George Washington, Ben Franklin, and John Hancock.

  4. Haahaha @ Jillian S - sounds like we should have a "your turn" on the topic "three historical figures you would sleep with if you had a chance"

Did you see the Office episode with Ben Franklin? Hilarious!

I am happy that she was able to have a good career. She's not fortunate in the looks dept.

  9. She ran with the Rat Pack back in the early '60s. She even has a cameo in the original Ocean's Eleven. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jack or Bobby.

Per Wikipedia, she was a organizer and fundraiser for George McGovern in 1972. I am betting it was in this time frame!

  14. Interesting choice of pronouns! I had sex with three "people," not three "men." Just saying.

  16. She was so funny with the Big O! It has to be one of the best Big O episodes 'cause she gives the Big O a side glance when she talks over her.

  18. Well, there's 24hrs in a day. Is one every 8 hours that terribly bad?

  19. "A Sinatra? A Martin? A Lawford?"

I hope so or maybe a Kennedy. If you're going to go all out and have sex with 3 guys/or people then make it a good 3.

  20. Love her! I just listened to her this morning with Rosie O'Donnell on Sirius, it was a pretty good interview.

And I too would love to know the intimate details...

  22. OMG, LooserDude, What A Way To Go is one my faves. I think I've got it on VHS somewhere. I remember seeing it in a theater in Palm Springs and the Mum was shocked to have taken me to such a risque movie. I think her word was "vulgar". LOL. Shirley certainly had some of the top leading men of that time and what a wardrobe in that movie.

The Apartment is good too. I watched The Turning Point not long ago and she really could do either comedy or drama equally well.

Like a lot of people who have been around for years, I think Shirley twists the truth at times. I've read some of her books and I thought in interviews she had said she never, ever messed with the Rat Pack guys 'cuz she was like the little sister. Um, ya, right.

I also didn't buy her story about her daughter living with the father because of some threat.

Shirley is still one of a kind and I'll always be a fan.

  23. Hahaha Meir. When you put it that way, not bad at all! Every 8 hours is nothin...she's almost a prude. :)

I still love her. And it was the 70s! Was that really all that out of the ordinary around the time of free love?

  24. If I had been her age in the 60's and 70's, I would be glad today that I had 'tried it'. It's better than wondering when you're old and gray, and really, it's just sex. Pre-HIV sex.

  26. I <3 Shirley Maclaine !! especially in Children's Hour, but she was so adorable in Mrs. Winterbourne. It was a crappy movie, I admit...but she and Brendan Frasier were pretty endearing.

  27. Go Shirley!!! I personally wouldn't be able to do it, but good for her.

  28. DANGEROUS? Dammit Mz.Oprah why weren't you all over that word. I'd have been like..."Dangerous? Are we talking weapons, gasper issues, really hard core S&M? Details, Shirl...please details."

  29. Good for her. Sometimes I can't even find ONE person that actually gives me the screamin' thigh sweats enough to want to pounce.

    Good on ya, Shirl.

  30. Gladys, I was thinking the same thing, in particular because I've always been impressed at how she pushed the limits in The Children's Hour. (Along with Audrey Hepburn, although Shirley's role was even more edgy than Audrey's.)

Dianne, I love The Apartment too. It's one of the best movies of all time.
