ReplyDeleteThe thing that bugs me about Kate Hudson is that she comes across as if she thinks she's so adorable. It's a blatant rip off of her mother's schtick and Goldie did it MUCH better.

ReplyDeleteI do like Ginnifer's hair though. Although I prefer it with the sideswept bangs, it's a little too severe this way.
I never got the appeal of "Almost Famous" or Kate Hudson, but I've hated her since that movie. She got a nomination for it and acted entitled & 'Hollywood Royalty' during all the publicity. The fact that she even considered wearing Goldie's (winning) Oscar dress to her own ceremony was nauseating.
ReplyDeletePlus, she seems to constantly be on the dick of one famous guy or another---She looks like she's desperate to marry up, and with her lack of talent, I don't blame her. I just don't like her.
When I was in high school my mom worked at the Ralph Lauren store in the mall. The exact fringe skirt Heigl is wearing was there and I wanted it so. bad. IIRC it was made of deerskin. It was 1992.

Word, Libby. I totally concur. I didn't understand what all of the fuss was about "Almost Famous" and her in it. It was an OK (just) movie, but she wasn't (and isn't) anything special. And if she pulls a Yoko and breaks up Muse, I am going to go all stabby.

Sweet fancy Moses! (Thanks, Cancan!) Hugh Jackman can wear a suit, sweatpants or nothing at all, I don't care... he is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBTW, we just watched the Australian version of the play "Oklahoma" in our drama class. It was filmed in 1999 and, I know it's hard to believe seeing how delectable he is now, but Hugh was even hotter when he was younger.

Ginnifer Goodwin needs to grow out the hair. Looks too much like a boy for my taste. And Heigel? She doesn't have an appealing enough personality to work the lunch shift at a Waffle House, much less a Sizzler.

I loved her in Almost Famous & How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days but she has made a bunch of truly horrible movies (Fool's Gold & Bride Wars to name a few). She may have cheated on Chris Robinson (who I find oddly hot) but whose to say they didn't have an open marriage??
