I'm officially inviting all of you to come up to Milwaukee to visit the "Bronze Fonz" statue. It's hilarious! My DH's office is overlooking the statue on the Milwaukee River. Afterward we can tour the Miller Brewery and get some free brewskys.

I think CBS produced Happy Days, but it aired on ABC. Hopefully, the cast should win. Real money, not what's left after the accounts play fancy games with the numbers. Using their likenesses was in their contracts (5% solo image, 2.5% group image from the net). In addition to what I would think of as standard merchandising (t-shirts, cards, games, etc.) both nationally and internationally, I guess there is a very popular series of Happy Days slot machines in most of the casinos. The actors were surprised by this and have not been paid. It's in their contacts. Pay up.

ReplyDeleteI made myself watch that Mildred Pierce crapola on HBO. ERW is great - she plays an extreme narcissistic type... she seemed so real. So real...
(but really, has anyone watched this and wondered wtf?)

ERW - wow yawn...we have not heard that before from a 20 something fame seeker....RIP Michael, I agree a underrated actor....The movie does look great...Alicia is huge, are we sure that a single baby in there? Wow. Demi's outfit makes her look pretty heavy for Hollyweird standards...Bonnie needs a stylist ASAP...Elizabeth is starting to look scary - her Indian husband is divorcing her cheating ass, she can come back to be british pasty white now. Henry Winkler has had a recurring role on Royal Pains for a couple of seasons on USA Network.
