Random Photos Part One

Three parts today.

Long time no see Nikki Blonsky.
Nicole Richie takes Sparrow out to dinner last night.
Orlando Bloom in a new Hugo Boss ad.
Now, Steven Merchant is 6'7", so Ricky Gervais must be like, what, 4'11"
Salma Hayek takes her daughter out shopping.
Sienna Miller trying to get away unnoticed after having dinner with her new guy.
Randomness. Pixie Lott, Ted Allen, and a camel toe.
My thoughts are with the people of Texas. These wildfires are out of control.

  1. What is it that Michael K says about Sienna? Something about a bulldozer vagina? Ha! It's funny cause it's true.

Still no fan of Nicole Richie, but damn she and Joel made some CUTE kids.

    Leave Ricky aloooooonnnnee!

  2. I was driving home from my sister's house north of San Antonio on I35 and I passed a pick up truck hauling one of those mobile barbecue pits. Every time it hit a bump live coals and ashes came flying out. I'm surprised the entire state of Texas isn't on fire.

  3. I thought Pixie Lott was Jessica "Barbie Weave" Simpson at first glance.

OhmiGOD. Valentina Pinault!! My FAVE celebrity kid! That girl is gonna be just as pretty as her mama. Wow.

So I'm guessing Sienna and Jude Law broke up? I missed that one, though it is not surprising.

  5. I agree that Nicole and Joel have some adorable kids.

  6. Wow - compared to Steven Merchant, Ricky Gervais looks like an entirely other species... miniature by comparison! It looks like a foot and a half difference, despite IMDB saying Ricky is 5'8". I don't believe that number based on this pic.

  7. Ricky and Steven, I love you, but where is Karl?!

  8. Nikki Blonsky grosses me out. I am sorry, but she does.

    I love Nicole Richie.

    Great pic of Orlando.

  9. Ricky does look alot shorter than steven but I think the pic is a little decieving because ricky is walking behind steven. He would probably at least come up to his shoulder if they were standing side by side.

  10. Hayley- I know, shouldnt it be in his contract that he has to follow them around?

    @ looserdude - Are you a Texan?

The fires are scary, a Boy Scout Camp Constantin and YMCA Camp Grady Spruce are evacuated as well as many small towns nearby. And there is no end in sight right now, our skies are brown hazed in the DFW Metroplex. I wonder what married man slut Sienna has her hooks into now?Salma and Nicole have cute kids, no doubt about it.

  16. @bbm - yup, I live in Austin.

  17. I remember people in Texas saying that NOLA deserved Hurricane Katrina because they were a Godless city. Wonder what those Texans did to piss God off? (and fyi, I was born and raised in Texas, left to become a liberal, lol)

@ looserdude - my sister does as well. Went to UT and never came home. Love County Line BBQ on the lake or river. @ Cindy - Gov Ricky Perry has pissed off everyone, maybe even God.

  19. Stephen Merchant looks like a GIANT. Just discovered the Ricky Gervais show and it is hysterical. But they're missing someone... Carl!!

  20. @bluebonnetmom LOL at the Rick Perry comment. I'm also in DFW. Did you get to enjoy the smell of smoke in the air on Friday? It was pretty miserable in my area. But I'm grateful to not have my home threatened by wildfires. Just tornadoes.
@loserdude - Jealous that you get to live in Austin. My brother lives just outside of Austin.

  21. @Cindy - That's funny what you say about leaving Texas to become a liberal because 3.5M Texans voted for Obama. Based on that only California, New York and Florida have more liberals than Texas.

  22. @Cindy. I'm originally from New Orleans, I live in Texas and I have never heard anyone say that. Ever. NOLA is a very religious place. New Orleans has flooded before several times. It will probably flood again; hopefully, not as bad.

My uncle's home was one of the ones in Chalmette; his roof peeking out of the water. My aunt was one of the people left behind in the nursing home and she drowned. I know of what I speak. NOLA is not a godless place, but it could use some uncorrupted leadership (wishful thinking).

  23. @caydian -- my heart hurts thinking about your aunt. I am so, so sorry.

I'm not a believer, but I do think that if ANY place should be blessed, it's New Orleans.

  24. Wow, had no idea there were so many fellow Texans here. Looserdude, my eldest is at Texas State San Marcos, she hasn't mentioned the haze, but she's been busy....probably partying. Even those of us on Gulf Coast TX are in a burn ban, it's scary out there. LOL Bluebonnetmom, I work in the schools, Perry's name is worse than mud right now.

Salma Hayek's daughter looks like she's hoping no one notices her!

  25. Same here fairylights & looserdude, as I'm a fellow Texan. I give a hearty chuckle to your "probably partying" comment. My dad moved to Pflugerville when I was 13, so my most formative summers were spent in Austin and the Hill Country. I miss going to Little Ark in Wimberley, TX. And caydian, I lived in NOLA the summer of 1998, and you are right on the money...the people there are very religious and it reminded me very much of home, the TX Panhandle. Good people. I worked with a lady who lived in Chalmette. My best friend and his son evacuated here to Amarillo, and he still has nightmares about it. My heart goes out to you. Jeez I would kill for a po'boy from Danny & Clydes right now, washed down with a Turbodog. Or to ride the ferry to Algiers & back, just because.

  26. looserdude - The pit you saw could have been coming from the HUGE cook-off at the Galveston Rodeo. At least 100 cooking teams. Ran down there to the fair grounds Friday and ate way too much. I'm HUGE now! Austin is my home too. I certainly hope you're going to the Paramount to see Grupo Fantasma. I only wish I could be there! The Oak Hill fire was incredible. Such unnecessary devastation. Hope it gets better soon.

  27. @_-_=_ and Looserdude and any other Austin-ite.

Austin is a beautiful & friendly place. It has a little bit of everything there.

Perhaps once a month, EL could highlight a part of the country & everyone who has been there could give their opinions on where to go/not go; what to do/not do, etc. It's not gossip, but the posters on this blog are celebrities in their own right. Just a suggestion.
