NY Post Blind Items
Which Hollywood actress went on a recent Ralph Lauren shopping spree in New York and flipped out when the store didn't give her the discount she wanted? She even demanded the staff get Lauren himself on the phone, but ended up storming out in a huff without her dress .
WHICH high-profile New York restaurant has an underground lair where owners tell special guests that "anything goes" -- and they do really mean anything.
WHICH New York book agent screamed at a literary lioness he loathes to leave a private party in front of a gob-smacked crowd? He then upped the ante and told her to leave New York City.
1) Any of them?
ReplyDelete2) All of them?
3) Tina Brown?
I would love to know the third one. Something other than another blond starlet who could be anyone.
ReplyDeleteCould these be any more vague? Especially #1
ReplyDeleteSeriously. It's like you actually have to LIVE in New York to even bother guessing any of these.
ReplyDeleteI still think the "literary lioness" HAS to be Tina Brown, but yeah. Vague as hell.
ReplyDeleteI say LiLo for #1. Wasn't she in NY recently? And, she feels entitled to any and everything.
ReplyDelete@RocketQueen
ReplyDeletethey are blinds from the NY Post, so they naturally tend to be NY-centric.
That said, there are plenty of pretentious, highly successful femaale writers in NY. could be Tina Brown, but there are others.
Norah Ephron?
although she's supposed to be nice.
1. Gwyneth (in town last week)
ReplyDelete2. 21 Club (really does have underground passages from prohibition times.)
3. Judith Regan got screamed at.
I'd say Lindsay for #1 - but she hasn't acted in anything since - fuck, when was the last thing she acted in?
ReplyDeleteSounds like Katherine Heigl. J-lo? Gwyneth (though she loves buying loads of leather pants rather then dresses - she has like 30 pairs.)
Julia?
Kate Hudson?
@cancan -- Judith Regan is an AWESOME guess. Alright. I'm on that train.
ReplyDelete@ Cancan - I think that you nailed them all. FTW!
ReplyDelete#3 Tina Brown is British, and "gob-smacked" is a British Term.
ReplyDeleteHey all -- Just need to point out that in #3 Enty's asking for the name of the NY book agent, not the literary lioness.
ReplyDeleteI'd love number 1 to be Jennifer Anniston
ReplyDeleteLiterary agents crack me up - I think they forget who writes the books and does all the f@@king work.
