Another Natalee Holloway Body Found Story

These stories always kind of bother me. They bother me because they make it seem like Natalee Holloway's body has been discovered, when we really know it has not. I guess the people who write The Enquirer just think people will buy it and not ask any questions. They have an article posted which says that Joran Van Der Sloot's laptop has been recovered by the FBI and that it tells exactly where Natalee's body is hidden. They also provide a picture of a tomb and an arrow which presumably is where the body is. Umm, then how come no one has gone in and opened the tomb? It just does not make any sense. The story says that Joran buried her body in a shallow grave and then moved it into a tomb that already had another body.

If the information was really on the laptop, it would take about five minutes for the FBI to find it and another hour or two to get the tomb opened. None of this has happened so I am not sure why The Enquirer is even reporting this other than to sell papers. Is Natalee Holloway still a big seller?

  3. I was at the grocery last night. The woman in front of me had 3 magazines, 2 respectable ones and this one. I don't buy it at all. I live in Birmingham and it would have been on the news long before this.

  4. I was kinda hoping this story of the skeleton found by tourists snorkeling off the coast of Aruba would pan out...

    I guess it wasn't her.

  5. I believe the story he told to his "friend" in the undercover sting done in the Netherlands.

He got his friends boat went far enough out to sea and dumped her in the ocean. The tides did the rest of the work for him.

Which is why he said he was just lucky she was never found becuase the sea didn't wash her ashore.

Everything else is just him trying to make money off the story.

I feel so bad for Natalie's parents. They just want to bury their daughter and get some justice. Joran needs a electrified chair that doesn't work too well to give this pyscho the slow painful death he so richly deserves.

  7. ^^agreed. My hearts just breaks for them and the false finding reports just make it worse.

  8. I can only hope that Joran suffers terribly, and for many years to come.

My heart just aches for Natalee's mother, who seems like such a decent human. :-(

  9. It's bad enough for her parents they can't even give their daughter a decent burial. Add to that having to live with the knowledge that the SOB who killed their daughter sits down in some foreign jail cell laughing at them. And let's just top it off with a few dozen magazine covers where her body is "supposedly" found, sensationalizing the death of their child and reporting this kind of crap as "truth."

No parent should have to go through this kind of nightmare, on top of losing a child. It's unbelievably heartbreaking :( :(

  10. Another hour or two to get the tomb opened? Really?

If that tomb is in Aruba I think the officials there might not rush to cooperate. I think they want this whole tragedy to just go away. It's not good for tourism. :|

  11. I think they dumped her body at sea too. I don't believe that Joran would take any extra effort to dispose of Natalee's body. Just writing that disgusts me. I don't understand how a human can be so cruel.

  12. I believe the story he told that reporter, also. I've always believed he (with the help of others) dumped her body at sea.

Feel so sorry for both her parents. They do seem to be really good people.
